  • "We had a wonderful stay at Fairways."

    It was spacious, clean, comfortable & had everything we needed (apart from a pair of oven gloves, which would have been useful!!). The welcome hamper was a lovely surprise. We would definitely come back next time we come to Weymouth.

  • "Great location for exploring the Weymouth and Portland area, just a few yards from a sandy small beach."

    Well equipped accommodation in quiet location with added bonus of an off road parking space. Only downside was intermittent broadband connection and garden which would benefit from some attention to allow better use of good garden furniture.

    Many thanks for your review. The Broadband is newly installed Full Fibre 150 and it's disappointing it was intermittent at the time of your stay. We have taken this up with Vodaphone. The garden has now been attended to. Thanks again for your feedback. Property Owner

Upon entering the property, a hallway leads to a sitting room, complete with a Smart TV. The kitchen/diner has patio doors which open to the enclosed lawned garden and patio area.

This can also be accessed from the rear, great for when coming away from the beach.

The property has three well-presented bedrooms, two doubles and a single.

The family bathroom features a bath with a handheld shower, a basin, and a WC, while a separate, ground-floor shower room provides a walk-in shower handy for when coming back from the beach.

It also has a heated towel rail, a basin and a WC. Whether you're seeking a coastal escape or a base for exploring Dorset, Fairways is the perfect choice.

Start with a visit to Sandsfoot Castle and Smallmouth beach, and take a break at Billy Winters Beach Bar.

WYKE REGIS

Weymouth 2 miles; Dorchester 9 miles.

Wyke Regis is a village on the south western side of Weymouth that sits on the northern edges of Portland Harbour and reaches as far as the back of Chesil beach and The Fleet, just two miles from the centre of Weymouth. There are local shops, cafés and restaurants including the famous Crab House café, with it’s own oyster beds on the doorstep. The National Sailing School, an Olympic legacy, offers a wide variety of water sports and is just two miles away on the edge of Portland Harbour. The Fleet Lagoon that runs between Wyke Regis and Chesil beach is an important area for wildlife and there are many species of birds to be seen in the area, whilst Chesil beach is also a renowned spot for fishing. The Fleet is probably most famous for being the testing ground for Barnes Wallis’s bouncing bomb, immortalised in the film the Dam Busters. Wyke Regis is the perfect location from which to explore many of Dorset’s most iconic locations on the Jurassic Coast.
