"Comfortable, modern house with a lovely hot tub ideally located for touring this part of the Highlands."
Comfortable beds and a log burner that made the lounge super toasty in no time. Ample parking and a quiet location with views of the mountains.
"We had a lovely stay at Emsa house."
The house had everything you needed and felt really homely! The hot tub was amazing and the beds were really comfy! Great location to explore the west highlands! Would highly recommend!
"An absolute amazing holiday away, the property was very good."
One of the best places we have stayed. Definitely worth it and will for sure be back again in the future. Great location and local facilities weren't too far away either.
"I can agree with previous reviews on the location of the property which is well covered and deserved."
But found it sadly lacking that both bathroom taps which had been complained about on three previous reviews, had to be complained about again and replaced. this left my wife using the utility room as an en-suite for over a day.( At this price not good.) I also agree that a stand alone microwave would be good as a simple much needed essential, as reviewed previously A basic starter pack again mentioned in previous review, could replace the wine / Maltesers.
"Lovely property we thoroughly enjoyed our stay particularly overlooking Ben Nevis from the 6 seat Hot Tub."
A few maintenance issues need addressing:- En-suite Bathroom - Toilet seat loose, Shower Door doesn't shut properly and the sink tap is difficult to control due to stiffness. Main Bedroom - Bedside Lamp not working. Main Bathroom - again stiff sink tap. Don't be put off this is an excellent roomy property to stay at in a quiet village with fantastic views.
"We had a very comfortable stay at Emsa House."
The size of the property and parking was great. A couple of suggestions for the owners: - the bathroom taps were very stiff to turn on and off, meaning that the water pressure was either off or on at full pressure. - it would have been useful to have more crockery, so we didn’t have to wash/put the dishwasher on all the time. Fantastic rental property and we would definitely recommend it to others.
"Absolutely loved our 2 weeks at this very comfortable, well-equipped cottage."
One minor problem sorted by the owner within hours, so thanks for that, the hot tub was lovely, a nice soak with a glass of wine was just what was needed after a days sightseeing. So much to see and do in this beautiful region, recommend the Loch Linnhe Boat Trip and the Steam Train (book early for this). The fish and chips from the Bridge Hotel are also brilliant. Well worth the long journey from Hampshire and we are already planning to come back. Val & Christine, Southampton
"Lovely bungalow in great location plenty to do nearby"
"Taps in bathrooms stiff and difficult to operate."
Written note left by me to say so.
"Lovey house in a fantastic location"
"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Emsa House, with the property surpassing our expectations in every way."
The house is fully equipped with first class equipment and furnishings utilised throughout. Great location for exploring the mountains and close to Fort William for any supplies that may be required.
"Perhaps lacking basic essentials such as cleaning products bin liners dish cloths and scourers."
No loo brushes. Not many matches kindling and logs for the burner. Good base for exploring the Highlands but must be realistic about the setting as in new build on a small housing estate
"We had great time at Emsa house."
It's located in the heart of highlands and easy to commute across. House is very clean with all high quality appliances. Hot tub and Wooden Fire palce experience was amazing. I definitely recommend this place and would love to come back again next year.
"Every thing was fantastic but you should also put microwave in there."
oven was there but it was tooo complicated so kindly put a normal microwave to reduce complexity level
"This has to be the best place I’ve ever stayed."
The house is amazing with wonderful views of Ben Nevis. I will definitely be coming back.
"We have just returned from a week at Emsa House."
The listing and photographs do not do the property justice. It is beautifully modern, clean and homely. The perfect location for exploring the highlands. After magical days out, it was time to return to the open fire and. Hot tub. Mornings would welcome you with a view of the mountains. Spean Bridge is a lovely peaceful village too. The local Spar is great for forgotten items (and their cake selection). Fort William is less than a 15 minute drive away and has a wide range of shops for you to be able to stock up for your stay. We will be back.
"We had a great week at this cottage."
It was very clean and a lovely place to stay for the week exploring the local area. The hot tub was amazing and was enjoyed by my family everyday. We will be back.

Everything you could need. Hot tub was great and was in a private, secluded area. Perhaps provide more in the way of cleaning products in the kitchen but otherwise perfect.

Spent a happy week, made full use of the hot tub, and would certainly return if holidaying in the area again.
The view around the house was really nice and lovely. The Facilities were really good and make the stay nice and easy. The log fire made it really cozy at the night. the hot tub was fantastic after a day of hiking. Not too far away from Fort William so going to the shops was easy. Will love to come back here again! Thankyou to the owners for a fantastic house!
"The house was modern but still cozy"
"A spacious modern well equipped property in quiet location with countryside views."
As depicted on website and giving access to many tourist locations.
"Outstanding property, excellent location and great place to stay."
Would highly recommend.
"The cottage itself was excellent, modern, well appointed and clean."
The only slight negative was the hot tub as the water had an unpleasant aroma as if it required to be cleaned.
"Esma House was a lovely bungalow, would guess a new build as during the week people were working on the landscaping in the garden."
Sufficient kitchen equipment but lots of small items were missing such as measuring jug, scales, fruit bowl to name just a few. Small items in themselves but fairly essential when cooking for a family. A few issues with shower leaking in en-suite bathroom and over head shower in main bathroom not working but we did leave a message at the house. Bungalow was very clean and bed and bed linen excellent. Would happily recommend and stay here again but these small but essential items need addressing.
Accommodation clean and tidy with all mod cons. Lovely hot tub to relax in. Spean Bridge and surrounding area so beautiful and so much to see and do. Owners so helpful and accommodating. Brilliant holiday!
There is nothing they haven't thought of that you may need during the stay. Luxury and comfort in a great location and the views are just amazing! We had a super active holiday so loved coming back to the hot tub!
"Super property, spotlessly clean, modern and well equipped."
Lacking instructions for appliances.
"The house was beautiful and clean."
We couldn’t fault a thing. The hot tub was lovely with plenty of privacy and you can blue tooth your phone to play music too. Pity it’s booked up until November but can understand why. We would highly recommend this house and the addition of a welcome bottle of wine and chocs was a lovely touch. Thank you so much for a lovely stay.
"What a lovely clean warm and welcoming holiday home."
Very well situated for a quiet and very comfortable stay. Loved every day at Emsa House. Would go back in a heart beat.
"Such a lovely cottage."
Very modern, spotlessly clean. Good location (Sat Nav directions stop before the cottage but as previously mentioned in other reviews - keep driving up the hill and you will find it
"What and amazing accommodation absolutely immaculate and so clean."
Very spacious, so comfortable. The hot tub was the main use at the weekend and the fire was just the icing on the cake. Will defo be back
"Although it had most things a shower seat for elderly parent or disabled child would have been a good idea."
All in all really lovely house to stay at
"Very comfortable, roomy property that was very modern and had all you could ask for to enjoy our holiday - even down to an Alexa in situ and speaker’s Bluetooth connected in the hot tub."
Excellent views of the Nevis Range. Centrally situated for walks and tourist attractions.

We had lots of space to relax, cook and prepare for our family adventures each day. The hot tub was a big hit! We couldn’t have asked for a better place and the views were spectacular.
"The hot tub and the beautiful views, also the comfy beds and the living room."
"Exceptional views at and on the way to Emsa house, extremely clean and well ..."
Exceptional views at and on the way to Emsa house, extremely clean and well presented, unfortunately the directions I received from Sykes seemed to have the last couple of lines missing but managed to find the cottage by driving onwards without too much trouble
"We had a wonderful stay."
The house was beautiful had everything you could possibly want on your holiday, and the owners were very helpful when we spoke with them. We will definitely be booking again.
