"A really nice place and stay thank you."
Thank you for looking after us. A really nice bungalow to stay in. Very good information and facilities. Check out time of 9am is a bit rough so beware of that.
"Our 5th stay at this lovely bungalow."
Once again, Echo Beach was very comfortable, clean and quiet. The owners are very helpful and friendly. A great base to explore Canterbury and East Kent.
"Very nice and people were lovely enjoyed our stay will go again"
Clean, well equipped, comfortable, quiet location, within walking distance of the beach. Good location for touring Kent. Close to amenities. Thoroughly recommended. Would have been nice if the vacate time had been slightly later say 10:00am, so not such a rush and early morning rise to meet the current 9:00am departure time.
"Very friendly welcome from the owners."
They made it a home-from-home for our Christmas. The bungalow is spacious and well-equipped in a quiet road. An enjoyable visit! Thank you.
"Everything in the property was perfect."
Extremely clean and very well presented. Very good bathroom facilities and nice and warm. Just like home, could not have wished for more. Property is situated in a very nice, quiet area, parking in the street was no problem. Nice walk to the local pub.
"Lovely clean and tidy place."
Everything as described highly recommended
"Upon arrival at echo beach we found the accommodation to be magnificent, exceeding our expectations."
Lovely bungalow in a very nice, quiet, clean location. Friendly owners who live just next door, every need is catered for, they seem to have thought of everything! The welcome refreshments, tea, coffee, milk and biscuits were very much appreciated, just what you need after a long journey! Reclining sofas very comfortable, good size well equipped kitchen and the conservatory is a lovely spot to relax in the mornings and evenings. Would have no hesitation on visiting again and would highly recommend and is an ideal location for exploring this part of Kent.
"Each Beach is a larger than average two bed bungalow with a lovely southwesterly facing back garden and a good size conservatory."
The property is well maintained and fully equipped with everything you could possibly need, a real home from home and in a quiet location. The owners are lovely and live next door, which was handy if we needed anything, but we didn’t. The bus stop is located nearby, but we tended to walk into Whitstable, which was a 20 minute walk. Take up the landlord’s advice on the eateries. If you are a goody like us, The Dove, The Sportman, Cockle and Winkle, Samphire and Bubble where all fabulous, but book well in advance of your holiday if you can. Great beaches at Tankerton and Joss Bay too. The property location is great and I will definitely be visiting this bungalow again.
"The property was faultless."
Incredibly clean, tidy and very well equipped. The owners were not intrusive but were only next door if required. The location was quiet and peaceful but not too far from Whitstable. (Easy walking distance) We have absolutely no hesitation in strongly recommending this property.
"Had a fantastic time at Echo Beach, close to many seaside towns, very quiet location with owners next door."
We had a welcome meet with the owner the day after arrival to check that everything was in order, which it was. Would definitely recommend going on holiday there.
"We booked this holiday last year but due to covid could not go so rebooked for ..."
We booked this holiday last year but due to covid could not go so rebooked for this year had a brilliant time echo beach was superb for us it's a credit to the owners has everything you need and more spotlessly clean and is in a quiet area so nice and peaceful also central for all the places we wanted to visit 10/10
"An added bonus is very helpful owners!"
My husband had a problem with his bike and the property owners - who live next door - sorted it straight away.
"Felt very comfortable at echo beach as soon as we stepped in the door."
Everywhere was spotless. A relaxing holiday, conservatory/sun room a lovely place to sit.
"This was our fourth stay in this lovely bungalow."
As previously, we found it very comfortable (especially the new recliner settees) and clean. We cannot fault it.
"After lockdown a welcome break away in a beautifully clean and well equipped home."
In a good location for exploring Kent. would highly recommend.
"Echo Beach was a fantastic holiday home."
Spotlessly clean, very warm and comfortable and everything we could have wished for and more was provided for us. Owners were very welcoming and kind. We really enjoyed our stay.
"Felt like a home from home as soon as we entered this great cottage everything you could need for a great base to explore Kent and the surrounding areas very quiet, had a sunny and warm first four days but end of week a bit chilly and wet but that didn’t spoil our enjoyment or comfort would recommend this cottage in a heartbeat to anyone wanting a great place to stay, Mr and Mrs Ferguson thanks for a great place that does you proud."
"We were naturally concerned about renting post Covid but have to say that we have never stayed in a property that was so thoroughly cleaned everywhere and our concerns were immediately put at rest, and so we must thank the owners Trudy and David for their diligence."
Echo Beach was fully equipped with everything that we could possibly need .. but it was obvious from the start that this was no ordinary rental property, for example where else could you luxuriate in reclining sofas whilst watch TV at the touch of a button? We particularly enjoyed the large bright conservatory with comfy chairs and spending time early in the day and on our return in the private garden which was not overlooked. All electrical and cooking items performed faultlessly, and we enjoyed Echo Beach for its convenient location with easy access to the beaches of Thanet and all local attractions .. all within an easy 20 minute drive. The choice of beaches was considerable, to suit all interests and expectations, and we particularly enjoyed visiting a number of them. In practical terms Echo Beach was very conveniently located, in a small estate made up of Cul-de-sacs, so only minimal road noise or traffic passing through. In respect of shopping the local Co-Op was less than a five minute walk, and a choice of supermarkets within easy reach, as well as fine dining pubs to suit all tastes and pockets. Finally Echo Beach was a ‘home from home’, like living in our home but somewhere different. A delightful property!
"Spotless, clean, tidy, well equiped ,ideal position for exploring Kent"
"We didn’t go to the property because of the Coronavirus outbreak."
"The description was spot on."
It was a home from home. Everything we needed and more. Clean and tidy.
"The property is spacious but warm and cosy."
Lovely shower. Comfy bed. Very well equipped. It’s in a very quiet and peaceful area. Just a short walk to the local shop and pub. Had a lovely Sunday lunch in the pub and some delicious fish and chips from the local chippy. The beach is accessible down a short pathway and over a bridge just up from the pub. The beach was a bit disappointing though as it resemble mudflats. Easy walk to Whitstable via the beach path or main road.
"This cottage is very comfortable, a real home from home experience, the owner was very nice."
Ideal location to visit surrounding areas, we had a car, but there is of plenty of buses for people who wish to leave car at property.
"It’s the second year running now that we have returned to echo beach as we loved it so much the first time."
We had all the facilities that we needed the owners are very friendly too nothing is to much for them. There is so many places to see and do around there and the beach is just a 5 min walk away.
"Echo beach was amazing."
It was immaculate. Had everything we needed. Used local transport to get around. Bus stop 2 minutes from the bungalow. Owners lived next door and were very friendly and helpful.
"Excellent bungalow with every home comfort, spotlessly clean, friendly and welcoming owners and a good location for touring the area."
"Echo Beach is situated in a nice quiet area, within easy walking distance to Whitstable."
Bungalow was spotless, comfortable and well equipped with an added bonus of a lovely conservatory and well kept small garden area with a patio to sit outside. Central to visit numerous places of interest, we visited Dover Castle, Chartwell House and Hever Castle but if we had more time could have visited more. Owners made us very welcome, if we made a return visit to Kent, Echo Beach would be the place for us, without question! Thank you.
"Beautiful bungalow, very quiet street, absolutely excellent!"
Fabulous beds, excellent kitchen, if we get to Kent again, it'll be the one to book, definitely!
"This was our third visit to Echo Beach."
It is a beautiful, comfortable and well-positioned bungalow. We hope to visit again next year.
"Very comfortable cottage and left alone by owners, but they are there if you want them."
Nice homely feeling and a nice welcome pack. Would stay again, very good for all local communities.
"Extremely comfortable and well appointed in a quiet location Well situated for exploring the whole of Kent."
"A beautiful bungalow, very clean and comfortable."
All facilities included everythig you could possibly need. The owners were very helpful, friendly and accomodating and made our stay perfect. I would highly recommend this property and would definitely stay there again.
"We had a pleasant stay at Echo Beach in Seasalter."
Rooms are tastefully decorated, the main bed was comfortable, I found the sofas a little to soft and low and would have preferred a choice of a slightly higher and firmer alternative, but that's my personal taste. Kitchen was well stocked and bathroom was well appointed. Whitstable is a great little town and very accommodating in the off season, we had nice walks on the beaches and over the cliff tops around Thanet and saw a number of local attractions with the benefit of very few other people obscuring the views.
"Lovely bungalow kitted out with everything you could need, owner even popped round on the sunday to make sure we had everything we needed, we did!"
If I had to comment I would say the bed was a bid on the firm side.
"Great communications with the owners who live next door."
Key instructions were easy. This is a spacious property in a quiet location. It is well-placed to get access the main attractions of Kent in under an hour. We were pleased to have chosen to stay here.
"Echo Beach was one of the most pleasant properties we have stayed at."
The welcome pack of tea, milk and biscuits was just what was needed after a long drive. The location was perfect for getting around Kent. Having the owners next door was very helpful when local knowledge was required. The walk down to the coast and into Whitstable was beautiful too. Nothing was too much for the owners, the property was truly home from home. The beds were comfortable, the kitchen well equipped, Wi-Fi was great, the supply of DVD films and games the list is endless. Thank you, thank you, thank you. We would certainly recommend as you most definitely get a good nights sleep at Echo Beach.
"Would definitely recommend the property we stayed in we couldn’t fault it everything was so close by would stay again."
"Nice cottage in a handy location for the area, well equipped - had a great time"

My mum and I enjoyed our stay in the cottage, it was comfortable and in a quiet location too.
"Most enjoyable bungalow was everything you could need ,big TV blue ray player disposable unit in kitchen nice cumfatable beds."
"Would highly recommend Echo Beach, lovely property"
"Limited walks direct from property without using a car, but an excellent base for visiting the area."
Large conservatory a bonus.

The owners live next door and were extremely helpful. A great location for exploring Whitstable, Herne Bay and Canterbury.
"Directions to get to local areas would be ideal."
"Lovely quiet property were everything was provided, even a couple of very tasty extras."
Thank you. The location is ideal for walking locally and for venturing further afield either by car or public transport should you wish.
"Superb place to stay."
The cottage was lovely and beautifully presented. It is very spacious with all the facilities needed. A very quiet cul de sac with easy parking. Situated within easy reach of Whitstable and other towns via motorway access. Would definitely recommend it to others.
"A fabulous location ,easy access to may places of interest."
The bungalow is very spacious comfortable. I would recommend that a floor fan is available as we found the bungalow very warm at night and being a coffee lover I would also recommend a cafetiere for that perfect cup of freshly ground coffee in the mornings. Apart from that a great property and a very warm welcome from the owners next door.

This delightful detached bungalow offers couples and families, with older children, the chance to stay in a light, spacious holiday home in the lovely village of Seasalter.
Beautifully presented to the highest of standards this two bedroom bungalow offers a warm home-from-home feeling from the moment you open the door.
The owners of this lovely bungalow live next door and have created a self-catering haven for those looking for space, peace and quiet.
From the comfy seating in the sitting room where you can settle down with a DVD and an evening together, to the large fitted kitchen with lots of workspace to rustle up some delicious meals during your stay, then shared around the table whilst discussing the day's experiences, this cottage combines style and comfort.
In this cottage the aim of the owners is to make your holiday a truly relaxing experience, including somewhere to sit and read either before bedtime or if rising early in the morning, the conservatory with its views over the well-kept rear, south-facing garden, is ideal.
Just outside the door of your cottage there are walks galore.
Why not take a stroll along the shoreline where you may see sailboats and windsurfers, or further along the coastline there is Westgate-on-Sea with its beautiful sandy beaches?
Whitstable is within walking distance if you enjoy a good walk.
However, if a day just lazing and listening to the waves against the shore is your idea of a relaxing treat, take a picnic, beach towel and sun lotion and spend it on the beach at Seasalter.
If you enjoy other leisure activities, why not enjoy a day of cricket at the Kent County Cricket Club in Canterbury, or there’s indoor bowling at the Oyster Indoor Bowling Club and outdoor bowling at Whitstable Castle?
So whether you are looking for a holiday to relax and unwind, while others race and run, or join in the games and have some fun, Echo Beach offers a perfect place to stay at any time of the year.
About the location
Whitstable 2 miles; Herne Bay 6 miles; Canterbury 5 miles; Faversham 5 miles; Westgate-on-Sea 10 miles.
Seasalter is a pretty village located by the sea on the north coast of Kent, between the towns of Whitstable and Faversham. The beach at Seasalter is mainly shingle and sand and therefore quieter than the more sandy bays at Westgate-on-Sea which is just along the coast. Seasalter Sailing Club, which has a clubhouse on Faversham Road, hosts catamaran boats which race on the River Swale Estuary, and there is also a private Water Ski Club with launch ramp. The Sportsman is a very popular pub and restaurant, earning a Michelin-star in 2008, so if you are celebrating a special event while visiting Seasalter this offers a mouthwatering menu, just make sure to book in advance. Public transport is very well covered in this village with regular buses to Canterbury, Whitstable and Faversham, each place offering visitors a day full of interest. Canterbury is ideal for a day exploring historic houses, taking walks or boat trips along the river, visiting a museum or two, a theatre evening or just enjoying a browse around the shops. A little less well known is that in Canterbury The Spitfire Ground is home to Kent County Cricket Club, and as well as cricket hosts other events during the year, so if a day of "leather on willow" is just for you or maybe a music event is more your scene, look to see what is on during your stay. Whitstable is a quaint coastal town, with cobbled streets, quirky shops and a well -visited fishing harbour where you can buy fish straight off of the boats, and if you want something to wash it down with, then take a trip to Faversham where you can take a guided tour around Shepherd Neame, Britain's oldest brewery dating back to 1698 and select a bottle to take home. After all the tours and sampling you may feel a day of walks and beachcombing could be just what you need, so pack a picnic and with a beach towel and a hat to shield the sun, make for the beach at Seasalter and enjoy the sound of the waves and the scent of the sea!
Note: Children aged 12 years and over only.
