"The lodge was comfortable."
Good location. There were a few issues that needed some attention. One of the kitchen cupboards was practically falling off when trying to open it. The television was a bit dodgy as well, losing its picture now and again. The blind in the smaller twin bedroom wouldn’t go up. Standard of cleaning wasn’t great, a lot of the surfaces felt sticky, bathrooms were okay and appeared clean.
We are delighted that you found Forest Pines to be comfortable and in a good location. We also appreciate you taking the time to submit your valued feedback. It is unfortunate that you experienced a few issues during your stay, had you reported these at the time we would have attended to these straight away. We will, of course, now deal with the issues raised as necessary. If you should decide to visit the area again in the future, we look forward to welcoming you back. Property Owner

"As a previous owner of a lodge on Fallbarrow it did everything we asked for."
It is in need of a few attentions such as a blind on the roof window, some of the kitchen drawers were a bit loose. We did have a leak on the en suite radiator but couldn’t get through on any numbers provided to report this so we ended up going to park reception and it was sorted quickly. But we will go again.
Thank you for your feedback. We are sorry to hear that you had a radiator leaking and that you were unable to get through to us. We will pass your comments onto Maintenance so that the leak can be checked and dealt with. We are glad to hear that you would return. Property Owner

"Lodge in great location, comfortable and clean but not spotless."
En-suite sink plug broke and radiator leaked. Water very slow in both bathrooms. Think iPod docking stations bit outdated and would have been better to have Bluetooth. Although we expect outside to be a bit messy from all trees the lodge itself was covered in cobwebs which was a shame as it is nicely cladded.
Thank you for your feedback and we are sorry to hear you had a few issues during your stay. Had these been brought to our attention on arrival, we would have been happy to arrange the return of the cleaner and maintenance team to address these for you. We hope this will not deter you from returning and we look forward to welcoming you back. Property Owner

"We had a lovely stay in Forest Pines Lodge."
Lake Windermere is just a short walk away and we enjoyed lovely boat rides there. The park and lodge are up a hill from the lake, so please be aware of this when booking if you have members of your party with limited mobility. The lodge was beautiful and clean, and was kept at a nice comfortable temperature so it was lovely to come back to after a chilly day on the lake. I will definitely be booking Forest Pines Lodge again in the future when I visit the lakes. Thank you for a lovely stay.

"The Lodge is lovely and comfortable enough."
There was two couples and we had plenty of room. Very clean. Nice quiet area of the park. Close to Lake. Nothing to complain about at all. Wildlife was abundant. Will take a bag of bird seed next time. Everything you need in a kitchen was there kettle toaster etc. The only two small criticisms is not having sufficient storage space for food in kitchen. We had to self cater due to pubs only having outdoor space. We took a lot of dried food biscuits crisps tins and had nowhere to store them. There is s dishwasher which in my personal opinion is a waste of space. And we all felt very uncomfortable in the beds. The mattresses did seem a little old and were spring. We are all used to now sleeping on memory foam. So this could be our issue. In no way did these small things spoil our holiday. We would like to say thank you and we will be back at Forest Pines in the future.

"We have visited this lodge on a few occasions and following our recent visit we are of the opinion that now is the time for the lodge to receive various renovations by the owners, The kitchen and large kitchen electrical appliances need replacing as the wall cabinets are chipped and one folding wall cupboard is falling off and has to be lifted to close."
Both bathrooms look tired and need replacing. Mold on wall of 2nd bedroom requires attention. Although the dining chairs have been replaced since our last visit the dining table is in a poor condition. The appearance of the exterior of the lodge is looking quite tatty in comparison to neighbouring lodges as the wooden decking areas are without wood stain. Forest Pine is a beautiful lodge in a prime position reaching out for some much needed TLC

"As a young boy we used to come here every year when it was more a traditional caravan park."
This is my first visit in 25 years and it has obviously changed a lot but still had a good chilled out feeling to it and it was as nice as I had remembered it all those years ago. The cabins are very nice and provide quite a homely feel to allow me to spend some time with my family (I only come back tot he UK once every year or two). The area is still beautiful although there is a huge amount of tourism now even after the schools had returned. We never go the chance to eat in the restaurant in the park although the food did look very nice. Will definitely come back again at some point in the near future.

"This was a lovely lodge."
Very clean which was important to us. Bed was very comfortable and good quality bed linen.we enjoyed our stay very much. Would definitely come again and recommend. The lodge is under trees which is lovely and kept us cool particularly at night as it was very warm. It is quite private. However on arrival the outside of the lodge was a bit disappointing. There was cobwebs all over the lodge and it hadn't been swept what looked like never. I know it's under a lot of trees but it was really bad and a soft brush to brush them away wouldn't take ten mins and would be better for first impressions. The decking needed attention and als needed a good sweep Parking was excellent. Fallbarrow is a beautiful place and we are planing our next holiday there soon. The views are to die for.
