  • "While we did enjoy our stay, there were a few issues that I had."

When we were packing to leave we found dirty pairs of children's underwear under the bed in the small room, There were trip hazards in some areas of flooring where it felt like panels were falling creating holes... The hot tub was comforting but was also falling apart, the filter just kept floating away resulting in many bugs floating around as well as many jets and seat cushions being broken. From the hot tub While I am writing about these issues they. Did not ruin our stay we still had a lovely time we just wanted to make you aware so the could be fixed

  • "We had a lovely stay at this property the views were unreal absolutely beautiful."

It’s a lovely place to stay if you are looking for a peaceful place to relax surrounded by the beauty of the countryside and all the animals. My little girl loved all the farm animals. The owners are really nice they welcomed us with fresh eggs really kind people. The only bad thing I can say is the property didn’t come with a microwave and the toaster was not working which is part of kitchen appliances they said in the description that they provide. Also, if you are planning on visiting with a baby the travel cot that they provided has a really thin mattress so it would be best of to take your own travel cot with a mattress I had to use a bed cover over the top to make it more comfortable for my little one. Other than that it’s a lovely place to stay.

I have to be completely honest about the property as i feel they do not describe it correctly at all. It is not a lodge, its a dated caravan with wood fixed to the outside. Yes its on a working farm but i expected a bit of privacy, but you are on there pathway where they go back and forth. I had to close the blinds so they could not see in. I have a autistic daughter that needs changing and i felt very uncomfortable and it made me upset. We only stayed 1 night (meant to be 4) this was meant to have been a break for my daughter but ive now lost out on money for it not being described correctly

Steven and Lorraine went out of their way to welcome us, nothing was too much trouble. The location was perfect, beautiful views and a well maintained hot tub to spend our evenings under the starry sky. We were lucky enough to be shown around the farm, meeting the horses and best of all - the nine puppies that Penny, their black lab, had littered. Perfect for couples, families or girlie getaways. Will definitely be back.

The farmer and his wife such lovely people they came to show us how everything worked and even brought us fresh egg's. The surrounding are beautiful and the hot tub is great. Bad points. The log cabin (lodge) is a caravan covered in wood to make it look authentic. The wind was incredibly bad which nobody could control understandable, but was blowing through the windows and front door which is broken, making it very cold even with electric fires on and the noise from the wind was that bad we got no sleep. Shower cubicle is full of black mold. Above Seating area in front room was spiders and webs with insects attached. Floor in living room is collapsing near tall cabinets you can feel it as you walk over leaning. No tea coffee sugar soap every other lodges we have stayed have this on arrival complimentary. We had booked for 2 nights only stayed 1 left there at 7.30 am next morning couldn't stick it out anymore.
