"This shepherds hut was perfect for a weekend adventure with our two children aged 2 & 5."
The hut is really warm and cosy with all you need, We loved the hot tub and the owners showed them all the farm animals which was so lovely. It’s in a beautiful peaceful area with loads to do in the surrounding area.

"We loved our stay at Hillcrest Shepherds hut."
As a family of 5 it’s not always easy to find accommodation to suit us but this was a lovely little cabin with absolutely everything we needed. It was well maintained and very cleverly thought out to maximise the space. It had lots of lovely little touches - many of them hand built by the owners. The hot tub was clean, warm and easy to use with lovely views of the surrounding areas. As a working farm there were plenty of animals around including goats and horses and we were greeted with a bowl of freshly collected chicken eggs on arrival. The kids had a fantastic time and the friendly host was happy to tell us about some family friendly activities in the local area. Clitheroe castle museum and the wild boar park were particular highlights. We also had a great meal at Tilly’s in nearby chipping.

"Lovely shepherd's hut."
We really enjoyed our stay. The hot tub was lovely and bed really comfy. We would have preferred a microwave, to a full oven, but it did have everything you needed. Would definitely stay again.

Hot tub was fantastic and there were a few nice little local walks you can do. My daughter especially enjoyed having a ride on the pony! Lovely couple of little village pubs also about a 3 min drive. Hopefully be back sometime later in the year!

"This was our first holiday away together and we went for his 30th Birthday."
We couldnt of been happier, we enjoyed every second of our experience. Such a lovely location on the back of the owners farm, we really enjoyed watching the horses have the run of the field and seeing all the other animals too. It has such a lovely view from the shepherds hut and the hot tub. Lorraine and Stephen were very welcoming and brought us a bowl of fresh eggs which we really appreciated. There were also some lovely walks around which we would love try more of. We will definitely be booking up again and recommending this place to everyone we know.

Owners are welcoming and friendly without being over bearing. Fresh eggs were a welcome delicious gift too!! The hot-tub was a welcome relax after a walk up the fell and perfectly positioned for privacy and sunshine in the evening. Definitely one to go back to again

"I would give them 10* if I could!"
We made to feel welcome as soon as we arrived, the little girl was so sweet and was assured if we needed anything they would help! We stayed Friday - Monday! The horses & sheep was a bonus for me as I love animals! We received eggs from the chicken which were the best! The hut was bigger then we thought, all cooking essentials. Sainsbury is a 10 minute drive if needed. We will definitely be back and recommend you to all our friends & family x

"Excellent place to stay, lovely location and made to feel very welcome by the owners."
Didn't need to contact them during our stay but I'm sure they'd have been on hand if needed. The facilities in the property are just as in the pictures and it was really cosy. Opening the door in the morning to the view of Parlick Fell was great and listening to the lapwings zoom around outside made it feel very relaxing.

"We loved our stay in our Shepherds hut."
The hot tub was a real reward following a day if walking watching the colours of Parlick Hill changing with the sunset. Lorraine & Stephen were great and the fresh farm eggs for breakfast were a lovely treat.
