Enter through a front porch, stepping into the welcoming kitchen/diner, where the designated chef of your group will have everything they need to prepare scrumptious meals including an electric oven, ceramic hob and microwave, plus a washer/dryer and dishwasher all built into beautiful units topped off with a quartz stone surface and traditional Belfast sink.

Gather around the dining table to tuck-in to a delicious feast, admiring the huge slate lintel over the fireplace, before raising your glasses to an unforgettable getaway.

There are two hotels/pubs in Crook itself and a wide variety of super walks on the surrounding fells. Less than six miles from Lake Windermere - England's longest lake - and a similar distance from all of the amenities of Kendal, Cumbria's historic market town. The vibrant twin towns of Bowness and Windermere hold enduring appeal for visitors to the Lake District National Park, with each providing a range of nearby attractions, amenities, shops and restaurants to suit all tastes. A variety of boat trips and boat hire are available from Windermere Lake Cruises in Bowness to Brockhole, Ambleside and Lakeside (at the southern end of the lake where the Lakeside Aquarium and the Lakeside and Haverthwaite Railway are situated).
