"Excellent property and very spacious and comfortable."
The garden was lovely. Every you needed for a relaxing comfy holiday. The host lived close by if you needed anything. The beds were very comfortable and I cannot say anything negative at all about the property and location. The host was very friendly and the complimentary goods that was there for us was a lovely surprise. All I missed was the sunshine.
Spacious and well catered in terms of everything you could possibly needs to make your stay comfortable. Lovely and quiet with a great countryside location but easy access to town. Would highly recommend,.
"What a lovely holiday home!"
We were 3 couples, 1 new born, a 3 year old and dog! The garden is gorgeous. The house was the perfect size, cosy yet spacious, high quality everything, we have nothing negative to say and will definitely be returning and recommending to everyone. We had a trip to Kirby Lonsdale and Kendal. The long weekend was just fantastic! Thanks again to David
"The cottage was amazing, it really made us feel at home, Thank you for accommodating us and giving each and every one of us an amazing experience."
Plenty of room for 2 families, the kitchen/dining space was jaw-dropping, the open fireplace in the living room was very cozy and the garden was a joy to spend time with Skye (our labrador). Definitely be booking this cottage again during our next visit to the lakes and I'll recommend all family and friends.

"A lovely property in the north west of the Yorkshire Dales."
Well equipped and furnished - Emma mattresses and M&S linen; cosy log burner; fast internet and the cottage's own Netflix account. Beautiful walks right on the doorstep (literally), lovely places to visit and some great pubs and food nearby. Of note there is currently no washing machine but don't let that put you off.
Thanks to you both for your kind comments, great to hear that you enjoyed your stay. Property Owner

About the location
Kendal 12 miles; Hawes 15 miles.
The attractive old market town of Sedbergh (pronounced Sed-Ber), with its old-world atmosphere, is not only set in the magnificent western dales of the Yorkshire Dales National Park but is also close to the rugged eastern fells of the Lake District. The town, with its narrow streets, little shops, traditional pubs, famous school dating back to 1525 and its 12th century church, has been a thriving community for hundreds of years, with a market dating from the 13th Century. Leading from Sedbergh is Dentdale, the jewel of the Yorkshire Dales with its rolling hills and dry-stone walls, stretching 14 miles from the windswept moors below Whernside to the confluence of the Rivers Dee and Rawthey. At the centre of the dale is Dent, with its cobbled streets, which has existed since Norman times and nearby Dent railway station is on the renowned Settle-Carlisle railway line. There are three golf courses nearby, as well as tennis, riding, and fishing, and the area is a paradise for walkers, ramblers, runners, and cyclists. This, together with the tranquillity of the surrounding valleys, the two National Parks and it being England's book town, makes an ideal year-round holiday destination.
