  • "Rebecca is a bubbly, friendly and caring host and lives close by."

We had a very comfortable and relaxing stay, enjoying the quiet remoteness and lovely scenery. There's a fairly easy walk to the Tempest Arms and a slightly longer and more challenging one to The Bull. The garden is secure and ideal for the dogs doing their morning and evening sniff around. The external lighting, security lights, are excellent. The road leading to the cottage is narrow, winding, up and down, little traffic, but with a few passing places. Coming from Herefordshire, we are quite used to such roads. Drive slowly, look well ahead and be prepared to reverse to a passing place when confronted with an oncoming tractor!

  • "What a fabulous stay we had at Glebe Cottage and what a friendly host Rebecca is."

The cottage was even more than we imagined, beautifully presented, comfortable beds, a very snug living room and all the amenities and facilities a small family could want including our pet dog Welly. Beautiful Yorkshire countryside literally on our doorstep with 2 lovely pubs and the town of Skipton a very short hop away by car (The Bull Pub you can easily walk to on a dry day). Rebecca lives in the neighbouring property so was a friendly face to greet us on our arrival against the backdrop of Storms Eunice & Franklin and was only a text message away if we needed anything and also a wealth of knowledge about the local area. She was so kind to gift us with a bottle of fizz and a Kinder egg for our little girl when Storm Franklin knocked out the downstairs electricity. I can't recommened this property enough, we will definitely be returning one day. Thank you so much Rebecca. Damon, Holly, Maggie, Welly and Bump.

It has been renovated to a superb quality, and was fully equipped with everything we needed. It is in a fantastic spot, peaceful and picturesque with great walks from the doorstep and the garden was wonderful for the dogs. Rebecca, the owner, was really welcoming and full of local knowledge. We visited Skipton Market, Castle and woodland walk. Had a great day at Grassington and did the riverside walk to Burnsall and back. We also had nice walks at Bolton Abbey and in the grounds of Broughton Hall. We will certainly book again. Katherine, Stu, Pandora and Bear.

We went in the middle of storm Dennis but it didn't stop us and our 7-year-old plus 2 dogs enjoying all the surrounding area had to offer. We did castles, canals, sweet shops, dog walks, cafes and managed relaxation with a great log burner. We are planning our summer trip to make the most of the lovely garden.
