  • "What a lovely cottage."

We had a fabulous week in this really well equipped and comfortable accommodation with easy access to the beach, local pub and a great fish and chip shop (open 4 evenings a week) The house was cosy for 4 adults and a dog with outside space to enjoy the great scenery when the weather permitted. Nice walks all around with a beach cafe serving food and drinks only 5 minutes walk away. A good time was had by all (and that includes our dog!).

Hi Shelley, we are delighted you all (and the dog) enjoyed your stay in Lazey cottage. It is of the utmost importance to us that the cottage is warm and welcoming with everything you need for a relaxing holiday, so we’re pleased you found it so. The local fish and chip shop, pub, beach cafe really do provide lovely food and they’ll appreciate the mention here. Thank you again and we hope to see you again. Kind regards Elena Property Owner

  • "Wonderful little cottage, well placed for location view and walks on the beach."

Very comfortable and clean everything you needed for a fantastic self catering stay. This was beneficial as no where for evening meals in village through the week.

We have stayed in Sykes cottages for a few years now and Lazey cottage is the best by far. It was the most comfortable well equipted you could wish for i would highly recommend it to anyone. A special thanks to Elena for her help when i had a senior citizen moment with the WFI.

  • "We stayed at Lazey Cottage from 9th March for one week."

The cottage was lovely and welcoming, it had everything we could have wished for, so well equipped. We had the outside area right on the waterside to walk our dog but the really nice long walks were over the sand dunes and beach which were minutes from Lazey Cottage. The cottage was lovely and very picturesque. The Sky and Netflix was a bonus and lovely on a rainy day. We visited the main lakes which were beautiful and a short/medium drive from the cottage. The only thing I would say is the beds were a little bit hard but that could be our preference. All in all a lovely stay, thank you Gloria and Elena.

The property was excellent in every way the kitchen had everything you could need the location was stunning the only thing we could fault was the double bed seemed to be damaged on one side and it did affect your sleep but the cottage was excellent and we are going to book again for June or July

  • "The cottage was excellent."

There's everything you could possibly need; it was warm and comfortable and the view over the Duddon was great. It was well situated for the few shops in Haverigg itself too.

Would highly recommend this to anyone for a relaxing cottage holiday!
