"We had a wonderful stay at The Old sheep house - 13 adults, 1 toddler and 1 baby."
The open space which has the kitchen, dining and social area is absolutely ideal. Wouldn’t hesitate in recommending it. We ate in quite a bit and a suggestion would be some casserole dishes. Plenty saucepans and other equipment (including a slow cooker) but no casserole / lasagne type dishes. One other suggestion would be mirrors in the bedrooms - upstairs there is one mirror in the hallway for 4 bedrooms - there are low down mirrors in the upstairs bathroom but not that you can do hair, make-up etc. Hot tubs were well used during the week. Beds are comfortable and the whole place was very clean. There was a problem with the Wi-Fi which Jack dealt with - he was very helpful throughout our stay.

"The absolute perfect base for a large group who were mad enough to take on the Yorkshire 3 Peaks."
We had everything we needed and couldn't believe the 5* quality, even the rain didn't stop us getting in the two hot tubs and the outdoor space. When it did get too much, the inside living area was wonderfully comfortable and it was a great place to all sit and chat. Digby, our 2 year old cockapoo was also made to feel really welcome and he had a wonderful time playing football on the grass with everyone or just chilling out in a sun puddle on the floor. Amazing place! Thanks to our host for looking after us

"Our 2 night stay for 14 people was great and the owner Jack was very accommodating and responsive with messages."
As the owner lives close by they checked in regularly and they cleaned the hot tubs and mowed the lawn whilst we were out in the town which was excellent. Would recommend to any large groups, very spacious and modern property!

"I recently had the pleasure of staying at The Old Sheep House for a special surprise 30th birthday celebration for my partner, and it was nothing short of incredible."
From start to finish, Jack, the owner, was fantastic always responsive and helpful with any questions or concerns, making the entire experience seamless. The moment we arrived, the place absolutely blew us away. The open-plan living area was a standout, providing the perfect space for our group to relax and celebrate. The property was impeccably clean, beautifully designed, and equipped with everything we could possibly need. The welcome hamper was a thoughtful touch that instantly made us feel at home. One of the highlights was the outdoor space, featuring not one but two private hot tubs—perfect for unwinding after a day of exploring the Yorkshire Dales. Soaking in the warm water while taking in the stunning surroundings was an unforgettable experience for all of us. Overall, The Old Sheep House is the perfect blend of luxury, comfort, and breathtaking location. Whether you’re planning a family gathering or a special celebration, this place is an ideal choice. I wholeheartedly recommend it and can’t wait to return in the future!

"Lovely luxury property."
Very clean. Equipped with everything we needed. Hamper was a lovely touch. Owner was very friendly and popped past a few times to make sure everything was ok. Loved the tvs in the bathroom. Perfect for a large family get together.

"We had such an amazing weekend at the Old Sheep House, it was perfect to bring us all together for a celebration."
It would be good to have some hooks in the bedrooms and bathrooms for coats/ towels/ etc and also somewhere to hang towels when in the hot tub. The only other thing we felt was missing was some serving dishes and some Pyrex dishes. We did a Sunday roast and had to improvise a little. All very minor things and I’d love to return in the future. Thank you for having us!!
