It was exactly as the photos showed....plush, comfortable, warm, spotlessly clean, the beds were so comfortable. The kitchen had all the equipment/ utensils you would have at home. The bathroom with bath and shower was fab with constant hot water available. On arrival the welcome gifts were all locally made and we enjoyed them all. We met Jenny, she was just lovely . We visited Kings Lynn, Sandringham, Boston, Skegness and other local villages

  • "We had a wonderful time at duck pond cottage."

My mum in particular loved it, she found it very accessible and easy to navigate (blind). The cottage was spotless on arrival, the welcome pack and fresh flowers were a lovely touch, everything we needed was provided. The owners popped over to say hello and that was appreciated. The underfloor heating and automatic lights were amazing! Absolutely no fault to be found at all.

  • "A beautiful cottage, presented brilliantly."

It’s a home from home and was very clean on arrival (spotless even). The kitchen was perfect size to cook a Sunday roast and the bath is a dream! A short walk into town and there is the Palmers restaurant which is lovely and dog friendly. Only a 45 minute drive to Snettisham Beach and 50 minutes to Hunstanton. Would highly recommend this property.

  • "Having now stayed in a number of UK holiday cottages our stay in Duck Pond Cottage exceeded expectations."

The little bits of attention to detail the owners Brian & Jenny give to the property makes it stand out from others we’ve stayed in. Beautifully decorated & everything you could need for your stay is provided. Also, well stocked for cleaning products which was so appreciated at these current times. The beds were so comfy which made for a great night’s sleep. Long Sutton is a beautiful village with a Spar just round the corner & a bigger Co-op further down the High Street. Also a great base for exploring Lincolnshire & Norfolk. Would highly recommend Duck Pond Cottage.

  • "We enjoyed a delightful short break in Duck Pond Cottage recently."

Jenny and Brian have renovated the cottage to an extremely high standard. We found it to be immaculately clean, very tastefully decorated and furnished. The quality of the finish in all rooms is outstanding - as are the bedding and towels. The cottage felt homely as soon as we walked in and, importantly, the kitchen was thoughtfully equipped with even the smallest of appliances and utensils included. Jenny met us on arrival and was most helpful, providing us with a delicious welcome tray, and provided an insight into the local amenities. We couldn't have asked for better hospitality and accomodation and would most definitely recommend this property to couples and families alike.

But still fits 2/3 cars off the road. Lovely touches with wine , chocs etc left for us really nice surprise would definately recommend this house. Everything you need has been thought about and more . (Only one criticism is the 2 double beds were not very comfortable as the mattresses were very soft and springy with quite a lot of roll together ! but that’s probably a personal comfort thing )

Thank you for your feedback. The mattresses are brand new and have new mattress toppers on also Property Owner
