Would look at installing a much bigger TV - 32inch too small in this day an age, but didn’t detract from a wonderful peaceful holiday on a 5 star luxury holiday park.

Very clean. Shame about broken blind in small bedroom. Therefore no daylight in room. Wobbly tap in kitchen. Temperamental hot water boiler. The site was spotless. Lovely walks on site. Would definitely recommend.

  • "Lovely park, well kept, spacious, quiet, with beautiful views and scenery."

Childrens park was very good and again well maintained. Caravan was beautiful, clean, and well thought out, hot tub was wonderful! Only things missing were a clothes airer, and that was only because I felt untidy hanging towels over the veranda as the park was so tidy! and maybe the hot tub being more enclosed with fencing, due to having a little one toddling everywhere and due to the dog who wanted to be with us, so ended up wrapping lead around the step posts for the dog. But nothing that affected our stay. Staff couldn't do enough to help and very welcoming to us, toddler and dog! Lunch time food at Arthur's was really nice and again staff were lovely and helpful, would love to come back to try the evening menu. Had a lovely relaxing week, Will definately be coming back!

Relaxing few days away. As Spring Meadows is a relatively new development more facilities such as onsite shop/pool spa would be fantastic!

  • "Arrival & check in was very well organised."

Driven to our lodge by Clive who very briefly ran through some basic info and then left us to enjoy our stay explaining he was in reception if needed. Lodge was immaculate altho a couple of things needed repairing I.e. broken blind and door handle which did not affect our stay and we pointed these out on leaving. There was a bottle of wine in the fridge very nice touch (maybe a pint of milk could be left too as it was Sunday and no nearby shop open altho I have to say the owner came to our rescue, thank you again :)). So straight into the hot tub which was perfect temperature (maybe a bit more screening or an overhead cover would have made it more appealing in the great British weather in July!). The park itself is still being established but they've done a brilliant job. Lovely areas for strolling down to the lake and Riverside (i believe paddleboarding can be done). Good dog areas and a beautiful wooden children's play area. Arthur's Restaurant is gorgeous; we ate Sunday lunch here and would recommend! Shame it doesn't open of an evening every night or even for breakfast/brunch i think its coffee and cakes only in the daytime. The outside seating area is amazing too with a lovely raised area and covered pods. On talking to the owner who was extremely friendly and informative he told us they have plans to open a swimming pool and spa in the future. Good luck to all and we would probably come back to see it all again. The surrounding areas are just breathtaking for a drive seeing beautiful scenery and a visit to Elan Valley Reservoirs and Devils Bridge are a must btw!

  • "The holiday park was fantastic."

The restaurant was great, a gem with a great atmosphere and good menu (reasonably priced), there was a saxophonist there on the Saturday evening also which was brilliant. The home itself was beautiful, the little touches were noticeable and the hot tub is always a treat. The team there couldn't have been more welcoming and friendly, couldn't do enough for us. We will definitely be back, especially when the water activities are open (due to open this summer).

  • "We could not fault it."

Staff and owners could not have been more helpful, friendly or tried harder to make our stay perfect. The bar/restaurant was lovely and the food and service was top class (this is a restaurant with restaurant prices not a cafe or burger bar). The accommodation was excellent and all in all we could not fault anything. We will look forward to our next visit.

  • "Had a lovely relaxing experience and all the staff were very friendly."

Beautiful place with fantastic views. There were just a few minor issues that didn't spoil it but would have made it perfect. The kitchen could do with a colander, measuring jug, wooden spoon, cheese grater, large sharp knive and a large pan. (We made spaghetti bolognese one night and found it difficult without these items. If there was a family of four the pans wouldn't be big enough) Also, maybe a bath sheet as well as a bath towel for each guest? I had to use the hot tub towel for a shower as I needed the bath towel for my hair and when I went into the hot tub soon after the towel was still wet. Finally, an iron and ironing board. I'm sure if we asked at reception we would have been given one but we didn't want to keep running to reception each time.we needed it. If we had all of those items it would have been a home from home and made the whole experience perfect

  • "We stayed at this beautifully situated cabin during the July heat wave in 2022 ."

Our family consists of 2 adults, a 4 year old, a 13 year old and our dog. I have booked with Sykes regularly over the last few years and we always expect a high standard from them but Hares Meadow was an absolute cut above the rest. The owners and staff are there are super friendly and helpful, the grounds are wonderfully kept, the hot tub perfectly clean and the cabin was absolutely spotless and just a lovely place to relax and to enjoy. The on site bar and restaurant is just outstanding, with fantastic food and impeccable service. When we come to book with Sykes again, this place will definitely be first on my list. The only let down for us is we only booked one week, instead of two! If the owners see this review, thank you so much for a wonderful and memorable little family stay cation, we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and you guys really made it special for us. Hopefully we shall be back again soon!

Lisa and Jonathan have created a fabulous experience with lovely food and a sensation of a home away from home. Clive at reception was knowledgeable of the local environment and provided a perfect itinerary for us to use. The hot tub is sparkling clean and works perfectly and is intimate and towels are provided; as was a lovely bottle of wine and fresh local milk in the fridge when we arrived. The place is only a few minutes from some shops and is a perfect location for exploring this part of Wales. Overall a wonderful experience and we will definitely be visiting again! Jon and Shanna
