  • "We had a lovely stay at this property during our holiday in Wales."

It's clean and private. It's also good for big family with dogs because the property has got a gate. It's close to beaches and about 30 minutes drive to SNOWDONIA, if you love to walk. This property is also close to shops, pubs and restaurants. You will enjoy your stay at this property. I recommend this property for those who want a private space during their holiday. Just take note, to call the owner for the postcode to find the property.

  • "We enjoyed our stay in Tyddyn, its lovely house with beautiful views."

we appreciated the welcome pack of milk, wine and fruitcake. The garden was perfect, and it was lovely to see the cows and sheep in the fields around the garden. The beds were so comfortable, the house was missing a few personal touches, it could have done with a mat by the back door, specially as we had such wet weather while away and the dogs coming in and out can make the floor quite wet and slippery. There was no airer if you didn't want to use the dryer, and it was wet and cold outside, no hair dryer, the bath towels were quite small. Would highly recommend.

Beds were so comfy and issues we had were delt with immediately. Only negative is the bath, it's great for kids and if you are short but being 5ft8 it was very short and shallow for me :(. Other than that the house is amazing. We had a bottle of red wine and a very tasty fruit cake as a welcome gift, which was a really nice touch. We were are party of 2 adults, 4 boys aged between 7 - 17 years and 2 dogs and the house had plenty of room for us all. Would definitely come back again in the future.

  • "We had a lovely week in Tyddyn."

The listing I think mentions that there are farm animals in the adjacent field - which meant we had to keep our bigger dog out of the garden - as he could easily have jumped the wall. So a great enclosed garden for smaller dogs but not for any dogs interested in bunnies or sheep. The cottage is comfy and well fitted out - I loved the great power shower and comfy mattress and the peace and quiet and the wonderful view. Good apples too on the trees. And a lovely welcome cake and bottle of wine was great after our trek from London.

Nice enclosed gardens with cows and sheep roaming in the fields to the side. Bedrooms very comfortable with lovely views of the sea in the near distance. The only issue we had was finding the place initially, as it is not labelled at the driveway entrance, so it took us a couple of attempts to find it. But we had a very enjoyable holiday and would go back again.

Everything was as described and lovely and peaceful. There was no catalogue of dos and donts so we spent the week entirely at ease . Lovely area and beautiful walks and the dogs both loved it too . Only thing I would suggest would be blackout blinds in the bedrooms as it’s light very early in the summer and the sun shone through very bright at 5am. Great cottage and location . 5 stars !!!

The garden was great for the young kids to run around, being well set back from the road and gated. The cottage was clean and tidy and we all had a great holiday there. Minor notes for improvement, the sofas are a bit deep/low for the older guests. There are several different instructions sheets for the house, just one would be easier to follow. given the stairs are quite steep a stair gate would be useful for children.

Very easy to feel at home. Exceptionally clean. Excellent garden for the dogs. Only caveat: ensuite shower cubicle is not very big. I was fine but not for husband but shower over bath more than makes up for it. Heating timing might benefit from adjustment as morning fine but didnt come on after that except for our last night. Freestanding heaters excellent. Perfect location.

The only thing we feel it could do with is a wood burner instead of the little electric heater it has which doesn't do much to warm up the rooms in winter. Also the little flame light didn't work either so you didn't even get a fire like glow.

It was clean and tidy and equipped with everything you could possibly need. The location has views across the bay, ideal for watching the amazing sunsets, and central for visiting the North Wales coast. Worth mentioning that the internet was almost non-functioning so be sure to have your own 4G if that is important to you. Impossible for that to detract from such a wonderful location and stay.

Thank you for your feedback, and we are so happy to hear that you enjoyed your stay. The beach is a lovely walk away about 30 to 40 minutes depending on your pace, or you can just drive 5 mins to Llanddwywe and take the turning down to the Dyffryn caravan site/ Benar beach where there is a car park for £3 for the day and some free roadside parking, and also public toilets. The beaches run along the whole coastline, so plenty of space, and dogs are allowed. Just a few small things about the property; There was no information on local things to do or directions on how to get to the beach, which would of been helpful. The garden is nice and secure for dogs however if you have a large dog who likes to jump they could jump the back wall, ours did! The curtains in bedroom are not black out or thick enough to block out any light so if you like a lie in you may struggle. It would be great to have a few more dishwasher tablets and toilet rolls, so it might be best to pack a few extra. Overall a great, clean property with amazing views in a fabulous location. There are plenty of amazing walks just a short drive away, and loads of great beaches. We loved our stay in Dyffryn Ardudwy and its surrounding area.
