  • "An amazing huge clean modern bungalow Everything you could want or need was provided."

Only thing we couldn't get the small TV to work for gaming at all, all 3 of my boys are well into computers etc but no luck, not that it spoilt the holiday at all as they have a huge TV. So quiet and the scenery is something else. Can't wait to have a return visit.

Amazing 4 bedroom bungalow very close to an unspoilt beach with magnificent views of the sunrise over the back garden along the Mawddach estuary

  • "This was a very enjoyable holiday, we all enjoyed just sitting and taking in the wonderful views from the lounge windows or sitting in the garden, watching sheep, horses, birds etc."

It was our 60th Wedding Anniversary while we were there and it was made more memorable because of our stay in Llarios. The owners did not know this of course but the bottle of wine they had left as a 'Welcome' helped us to toast our special event (Thank you). An added bonus was a week of very sunny weather.

  • "Fantastic views over the fields and looking on the mountains, great comfy sofas and lovely decor."

Bed really comfortable too. We felt so chilled and relaxed when we stayed here for the week. Great communication from the owners and very helpful (I am a bit overdue typing up this review, but felt it was necessary as a thanks for a great stay). Amazing walks straight from the property, we walked to Barmoth and back, no little train running whilst we were there in early season, but bet that would be great to use too. Lots of other walks available too. Great local pub in Fairbourne within easy 5 mins walking distance, with lovely fresh home cooked food. We ate there 4 times and enjoyed it everytime. Nice friendly atmosphere. The beach at Fairbourne is fabulous when the sea is out, just have to pick the right spot to climb over the rocks/stones and then you can walk on the beautiful beach. Barmouth also has a great beach with great restaurants too. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend this property. We had lots of entertainment looking out from the full glass large windows, watching the sheep, cows and lots of birds. Fabulous stay, thank you xx

The property is well kept with all utensils you could want. It's in lovely location with mountains out back and easy to visit most places in north and mid Wales. Would highly recommend the property.

  • "Lovely house, spotlessly clean, with amazing views that we couldn't stop looking at."

Appreciated the touches, milk, butter, Welsh cakes, hand washes, toilet rolls etc. Makes life easier when all these are supplied. Llarios is so peaceful it's ideal for a relaxing break. Nice to be able to walk to the shop and pub. We ate at the pub and would recommend. So lovely to cross the road and be on the beach and watch the waves. We would recommend the little train and ferry to barmouth, have some food and walk back across the bridge. We also did a few of the local walks - Mawddach trail, lakes and the blue lake. Norbar and George III for food were also good. Would definitely recommend this property and area

  • "Our first return to Llarios since we fell in love with the house and outstanding view in 2019, the pandemic stopped us returning till now, and what a reunion it was."

It was spotlessly clean then pre covid so we had no concerns returning this time, and we were not disappointed. A multi generational family, some adults with learning disabilities and special needs find Llarios to have everything we need to be comfortable and accessible for all. My children have declared that if there was a hot tub they wouldn’t stay anywhere else, and we holiday usually at least three times a year! We all really love Llarios and will be back again soon.

Access to beach, railway and ferry just right. Could do with a clothes airer for nice days Beach is the best in UK (when tide is out) but watch out for jellyfish.

  • "Superb holiday cottage if you want a quiet, extremely close to the beach holiday."

Ideal if you have very young children with you as the beach is safe (once you’ve got over the pebbles) and practically deserted. Limited things there to spend money on so pester power isn’t an option! The cottage itself is beautifully appointed and spacious with everything you need (except a clothes airer….which would have been useful). The listing doesn’t mention a washing machine or tumble drier…both of which it has. An added bonus for our little ones (and us) was that the field directly behind the garden has sheep, horses and very friendly Shetland ponies in it. Highly recommend this cottage for a young family or like us….a multi generational group. Will definitely be looking to rebook it next year.

  • "This place was far better than we expected."

The Internet was faster than my house. It was remote enough, yet not too remote. There were plenty of little additions like board games to keep you occupied and lots of things to do if you don’t mind a drive. Not to mention a really quick walk to the sea. Would definately go again.

It had everything required to make our stay a comfortable one. Extremely clean and modern throughout. The views from the house and garden are breath taking and we made full use of the wonderful fire pit. We managed to see many beautiful sun sets from the beach which is in close proximity to the cottage.
