The view from the balcony of the surrounding area is simply superb. You could happily spend all day on there and never get bored surrounded by cows, sheep, and watching the red kites swooping overhead. Its situated within a mile of the red lion pub that is the oldest in powys and does lovely food. The Elan valley village and dams are close by all with breath taking scenery. theres also a kite feeding station nearby that is well worth seeing, literally hundreds of these magnificent birds gather there at the same time every day and its a site to behold. You can also get to the coast within about an hour. The owners are very friendly, welcoming and extremely helpful. We enjoyed it that much that we rebooked as soon as we got home.
