  • "Absolutely beautiful property."

The views and gardens were stunning. The house was comfortable and felt like home from home. The roads are a bit steep but you expect that in wales! The locals were all very friendly, nice shops/pubs/playground within a 5 minute walking distance. Only 2 very minor things that weren’t really even issues, the property hadn’t been hoovered before we arrived (simple for us to do), and the garden has beautiful apple trees.. but there was a lot of wasps around due to the fallen/rotten apples where the gardener hadn’t yet been. Will definitely book again and come back, we loved it and so did our sons :)

Thank you for your feedback. We asure you every changeover is fully cleaned from top to bottom. Glad you enjoyed the rest of your stay Property Owner

  • "Super property, quiet position and extremely comfortable."

Constructive criticism: maybe new garden furniture would enhance and encourage spending more time outdoors, particularly for larger families (for just us two it was fine) and maybe it should be mentioned that the walk into town involves a pretty steep climb, particularly for the less mobile (we used the car).

Thank you so much for your feedback, will definitely look into that and amend the listing Property Owner

  • "Lovely house in nice position."

Garden wasn’t secure so it was difficult with the dogs and could relax the same. Kettle not working hardly. Quilts too heavy for hot weather. Lovely walks behind house.

Thank you for your feedback Fiona, we have replaced the kettle all working beautiful now. On the property images and in the description it states there are no gates to keep pets in. Property Owner

The town of Llanfair Caereinion is built upon the site of an old Roman fort, in the valley of the River Banwy. It is a thriving town built around The Church of St Mary, with a Post Office, two supermarkets, a butcher with local meats and a selection of three different pubs. The annual Llanfair Caereinion Carnival is very popular with locals, and proceeds through the town with a full parade of floats and dancing troupes, providing a Rio carnival atmosphere. There is a river walk along the banks of the Banwy leading to an Arboretum, containing over 25 different species of British trees, an ideal place to explore before stepping back in time and jumping on the start of the narrow gauge heritage steam railway that runs 8.5 miles west to Welshpool. Welshpool nestles into the upper reaches of the picturesque Severn Valley near the border between Wales and England. This bustling market town is surrounded by rolling hills and glorious unspoilt countryside. There's a unique blend of shops offering arts & crafts, fashion & leisure, fresh produce, and quality pubs and restaurants, as well as the town centre’s restored cock fighting pit and interesting Heritage Trail.
