  • "It’s the 2nd time we have stayed in this property this year."

One thing that lets the place down is the fact the little faults mentioned by many guests haven’t been addressed. Also I appreciate they are doing work to improve the site but it does make it difficult to relax with all the noise from the builders etc.

  • "Overall a lovely relaxing girls trip."

Star gazing in the hot tub was by far our favorite part of the trip. Comfy bed and more spacious than we anticipated. I got lost finding the location for ages, as there are no signs of the main road to indicate where to turn in to the location, and phone signal was bad so it was hard to contact the owners. On arrival the owner spotted me and directed me to the right place (not very friendly at all.) Both the clock and the blinds were broken, little things that didnt impact our stay however a little more attention to detail for the price was expected. The views are incredibly and a really stunning village however we had lots of uncomfortable moments with the locals, possibly because of our ethnicity. For this reason we wouldn't return

The log cabin was spotlessly clean and had everything that we needed to enjoy our stay. Beautiful views over the Welsh valleys on a morning whilst watching the Red Kite Birds fly over was breathtaking. The addition of the hot tub was a real treat after a long day out in the sun. Honestly couldn't recommend this place enough. We had a fantastic time and will definitely be looking to visit this site again, especially since they now have hobbit holes built into the side of the valley! Thank you for such a wonderful stay!

We decided we'd spend our first NYE doing something completely relaxing. And it certainly was that. The lodge was perfectly clean on arrival with all the facilities you need. We also went on lovely walks to see the countryside, with Rhayader just down the lane made for a perfect pub lunch and beer. Throughly enjoyed our stay would highly recommend

Everything about it exceeded our expectations. The lodge was cosy and comfortable, and the hot tub was a lovely treat at the end of the day! Hadn’t expected a dishwasher from the pictures but it was a nice bonus. Wish there had been an oven, but the hob and microwave did the job for us. Thank you for a lovely stay!

What a wonderful place it is, clean and comfortable with stunning views to great you. Pods are well spaced and positioned each with its own fenced garden, patio and hot tub areas. Hot tub was ideal way to end each day watching the sunset of the beautiful valley. Rhayader just a 2 minute drive had numerous places to eat, a variety of cafes, restaurants, and pubs and those we tried were good. Elan Valley just a 5-10 min drive away with many walks and cycle tracks with glorious scenery. We enjoyed so much that We are already rebooking for next year

It was brilliant that as we arrived the cabin was all nice and warm and the hot tub was already on for our arrival. WiFi has its moments but you are in the middle of no where. Rhayader was a lovely little village we took a liking to the little chocolate shop chobblebox, the cakes were amazing. We hadn’t planned anything to do but we found plenty. The red kite feeding was different and also had an intense cardio session around devils bridge and those steps! Really lovely place and I have recommended this place to friends. Couple of pointers to note though; the doorway would benefit from a fly screen, due to the location on a farm they were to be expected but we were over run by them! The sofa bed used as a sofa was extremely uncomfortable too, there had clearly been issues with it as a large rip was photographed by a staff member. These are however minor issues and the little extras were highly appreciated. We hope to return in the future

It snowed a lot whilst staying here but the cosy lodge and hot tub made it the best place to be whilst being snowed in. Lovely views and surroundings and the building work mentioned in another post did not bother us as it was behind our lodge far enough away not to disrupt our stay. Definitely would come back again and we have even decided to stay an extra night as we do not want to go home!

  • "Lovely little cabin in rural Wales."

What the pictures don’t show is that they are currently developing the site and building several other lodges, so the view is slightly ruined by diggers and the peace and quiet disrupted from 8am during the week by the men and machinery. Also means that you can’t really use the hot tub during the daytime as it overlooks the building site (and the builders)! The hot water was also hit and miss. Despite this though it really is a lovely cabin in a beautiful spot. The sister cabin (Valley View) is slightly further away from the building work and the hot tub less in view so I would book that one rather than Meadow View.
