You could not fault the accommodation , it was perfect in a idyllic location ! The owner, Huw came to greet us when we arrived, very friendly and attentive to anything we needed. The converted barn was at high standard with all modern amenities. Hot tub an added luxury ! Beautiful place and we will definitely visit again , highly recommended - 5 star self catering accommodation.

A truly beautiful part of the world. Huw was such a lovely man who made our experience even better. He was happy to help when ever needed. I would recommend this stay to anyone and look forward to using Sykes cottages in the future.

  • "Fabulous stay."

Only thing is the sofa and seats in the upstairs lounge are rock solid, not comfortable at all, couldn’t relax together up there which only left a few sitting on the sofas down stairs and the rest had to sit at the dinning table all night long, ended up going to bed early just to get comfortable. One of the ovens didnt work. Other than that we had a great time, and nice walks by the waterfall and Moel Sych. Owner was very friendly.

  • "Weekend break for my Mums 60th birthday and what a beautiful place to stay."

We were greeted by the owner on arrival and was nice enough to let us have a later check out. Cottage was well equipped, even little plates for the kids. Very modern rooms and bathrooms. The owner was very helpful before our stay as well, recommending local take aways and shops. We went to the Railway Inn for Sunday lunch, very nice and lovely staff. Nearest shop was 10 minutes drive away and a lovely fish and chip shop. Would definitely recommend.

  • "Amazing stay, lovely cottage with scenic views."

Would highly recommend.. The only thing which was a down fall was no WiFi, although some ok 3G spots outside & the lounge area upstairs.

  • "We had a wonderful weekend at The Stable."

The views from the garden and top bedrooms were outstanding! The cottage feels like it's built in a middle of nowhere so it's a perfect spot for those who want a nature escape. When we arrived we didn't find a Bbq however the owner was very quick to resolve the issue and brought the bbq half an hour later which was very nice of him. The cottage was very clean and tidy, lot's of space for families with kids. Plenty of towels, bedlinen and there were even bathrobes in every room. The kitchen was fully equipped with everything we needed the only downside was there was no dishwashing liquid and only 2 dishwasher tablets but we bought some ourselves as it's not a big deal. Really spacious hot tub too! Highly recommend it!

  • "Absolutely stunning property and location!"

Fantastically clean and well kept. Great entertaining space in the kitchen and the hot tub is of course amazing! Owners came to check on us the second night which was kind and much appreciated and were also available at check to ensure we got in okay. Only downside is the wifi is not good which meant sadly we had to leave after the weekend and couldn’t stay for the week as unable to access work emails (working from home). However, I would not let this put you off. Enjoy the fresh air, countryside, the sheep all around and relax in the outdoor hot tub! Leave the work at home! We are planning to return again next year and I can’t wait! Thankyou for a fantastic stay!
