  • "Cottage is delightful, a real home from home feeling."

Beautifully decorated, amazing artwork, comfortable, spotlessly clean & welcoming cookies, tea/coffee and milk were appreciated. Back garden lovely little sun trap. Only a short 4 minute walk to the beach and both Cromer and West Runton walkable in each direction when tide is right. We got up one morning to watch sunrise over sea and the local fishermen setting sail. Village has good amenities and right on coastal route so Sheringham, Wells, Blakney & Cromer all close drives, and only 20 minutes from the Broads where we spent a couple of hours on a highly recommended river trip with Broad Tours. Norwich worth a visit too for the secret underground streets tour. I would highly recommend this cottage, loved it. Yes, parking is tight to reverse into the close but absolutely manageable and so peaceful tucked away there. Bonus for those Top Gun lovers is watching practice dog fights with fighter jets over top of village which was both entertaining and fascinating for the brief couple of minutes they appeared. Locals all super-friendly and happy to recommend visits. We had a wonderful relaxing week.

Thank you for your kind words about our cottage. We’re really pleased you had such a lovely time. Hopefully you’ll visit again in the future Alison Property Owner

  • "Melinda Cottage is very cosy and decorated to a high standard."

It was very clean. It was really quiet and peaceful. The garden is nice. We had a great week doing lots of activities. The beach is very close. The shop is even closer and well-stocked. As it says in the description, parking is tight, you have to drive between two buildings on the way in and it's narrow. There is definitely only parking for one car.

Hi Isabel, thank you for the nice review. We’re glad you had a lovely time in our cottage and enjoyed East Runton and North Norfolk. Thanks Alison Property Owner
