• "Just returned from a wonderful weeklong stay at The Myth."

  Ideal for rest and relaxation in a quiet, rural setting albeit still having access to major towns and city of Norwich (take advantage of the park and ride). The Myth has everything you need, exceptionally clean, wonderful bed and bedding and the added bonus of hot tub and sauna. Would definitely return.

• "We could not have been happier with this property."

  Everything was provided to a very high standard and everything we needed for our stay was provided. The setting was first class with beautiful views over the lake and parkland with ample space between the properties to ensure privacy. We rent holiday properties all over the country and this was one of the best we have found, I am sure we will return in the future.

• "This holiday home is perfect!"

  From the on tap chilled water and ice to the hot tub and sauna it was just the perfect family getaway! The location is a good base to explore but is peaceful and relaxing too out of the hustle and bustle. The three bedrooms and three bathrooms make things easy and the open plan lounge diner and kitchen make a great space when everyone is together! We’re already missing early morning coffee ok the veranda with the electric canopy for shade, the patio where you can enjoy a drink and a splash in the hot tub and we barely saw a sold all week. With 6 adults having the large fridge freezer was a real bonus and the house is so well equipped. The golf was good, the pool accessible and the lake outside the house with all the ducklings and wildlife was gorgeous! We could not recommend a better place to explore Norfolk. We hope to return too!

• "This property was immaculate in cleanliness."

  There was everything there that we could want. The owners provided excellent communication and gave us some very thoughtful extra's. ( I hadn't thought to pack duck food!) The beds were comfortable and the rooms large. The office space was useful. The house was warm and full of light with a great view. Everyone loved the sauna and hot tub of course :) As a multigeneration family holiday it was perfect. My only comment is that although it's called a country park, its a golf course, so walking is limited to around the little lakes.

• "We had an amazing stay and we can’t wait to return again."

  The view of the lake and golf course whilst sitting on the balcony (or relaxing in the hot tub) was absolutely stunning. The children loved fishing and feeding the ducks every day. The setting was beautiful and peaceful but within only a short drive away there was lots of entertainment and things to do for the kids. It was one of the best holidays and will highly recommend

• "Simply wonderful, what a beautiful location and perfect property."

  All the little touches, the quality, the cleanliness - all just fabulous. Literally the only thing missing was the instruction manual for the oven - other than that, everything was amazing and we plan to come back in future.

  The welcome treats, milk and tea bags were much appreciated after our journey, the house was really well equipped and spotlessly clean, the beds and sofa were very comfortable, and the hot tub and sauna were a lovely way to spend the evenings. It is certainly one of the nicest holiday homes we have stayed in, and in a great location with lovely views from the outside decking area.

• "Our short break at The Myth was so lovely."

  It really was home from home, with everything that you need for a perfect holiday. We've never seen such a fully equipped kitchen in a holiday home. The lounge was very spacious, with plenty of room for our family of six adults. The hot tub and sauna were a real bonus too. Great to use in the evening after a day exploring! Overall this is one of the best holiday accommodations that we have ever booked.

• "The Myth is a beautiful place to stay."

  The house is even better then the pictures . The kids loved the hot tub and the adults loved the sauna. Beautiful location over looking a lake with ducks. The house owners leave duck food which was a lovely addition! The house has 3 bathrooms to the three bedrooms. Every piece of kitchen equipment you could need , including a fridge with an ice dispenser and a coffee machine. We went to the circus at the Hippodrome which was fantastic and only 15 mins away, we also visited Pleasure Hills theme park which was great for only £20. We travelled 40 mins to visit Horsey beach and the seals in August, and then moved down to winterton beach which had toilets a big car park and a food van, you also saw seals here but it was a great beach for the kids with the sea close by. Couldn’t recommend this place more !! Thank you so much for our enjoyable stay!

• "We have just returned from staying a week at the Myth and have loved it that much we have already booked for next year."

  The property has everything you could possibly need including a Nespresso coffee machine (which is essential if you need a 'proper coffee' when you wake up each morning). The property is very clean and you can tell the owners take great pride in this property and really want you to have a lovely stay. There is a highchair and stairgate if required. The Myth overlooks a fish and duck pond and is in a very quiet location. We didnt have any problems during our stay however the owners arent that far away should there be.

• "The myth, What can I say, it has everything a family would need and more."

  The location is fantastic for days out ,or just lazing around the place ,in the hot tub or suna Or watching Netflix or tv or eating el fresco on the veranda. Cooking facilities and washing facilities are perfect and very modern. The beds are massive and extremely comfortable, all modern amenities in the rooms ,walk in showers, on suite and and upstairs bath room next to the bedroom. Overall myself,my wife are children and grandchildren had a fantastic holiday. Nearly forgot if you like course fishing the lake at the front of the myth is full of carp and wildlife, if you just want to feed the fish and birds,or go fishing. Carnt think of anything else to add, Except a very big thank you to bob and sue the owners . And if you do stay here i can honestly say that you will not be disappointed in any way. Henry McCormick

• "The first thing my kids said when we arrived was "Good find, dad!"

  ", and then they saw the hot tub and sauna and were blown away. Almost everything was of a high standard - we had to clear the webs on the outside stairs with a long dustpan which was broken, but that was the extent of my complaint on the first day. Highly recommended.
