Spotlessly clean, beautifully furnished. My husband and I wanted to move in permanently! The hot tub was lovely and the location very quiet. I loved hearing owls and foxes at night. There was a welcome basket of coffee tea and biscuits and even a bottle of wine. Just a side note, it would be really helpful in the listings to say that there were things like tea towels and hairdryers and dishwasher tablets provided. Thank you Colin for a lovely holiday

  • "Well what can i say, one of the best barns i have stayed in and i have stayed at a lot i can assure you."

Colin and Mary were wonderful hosts, the barn was so clean and very well equipped, they have thought of everything. The lovely welcome hamper was very well received, tea, coffee, biscuits, wine, even doggie biscuits for our old boy. The barn its self is very spacious light and airy, the outdoor space was great for the dog. also the hot tub was a huge bonus for us and the kids after a long day sight seeing. As the weather was so lovely, we only ate outdoors, so we got to see a lot of wildlife too (so lovely to see a barn owl swoop across the garden). Its a wonderful place to stay, we were not disappointed, definitely hoping to book again.

  • "Whitehands farm barn will not disappoint, it’s a beautiful barn with everything you could need for a few nights away."

The owners are very friendly and nothing is to much trouble. The barn is spacious, clean and well furnished, lots of little things have been thought of like hair dryers, hot water bottles, extra blankets ( which I don’t think you would need as it’s a lovely warm barn) the bedding and towels are all nice and comfortable. The kitchen is great and so much equipment has been thought off, even including scales which we needed for pancakes! The garden is superb, it really is completely dog friendly and no gaps so very secure, total added bonus is the hot tub which our children loved. The surrounding area is beautiful and has a great circular walk, it’s quiet and relaxing. Overall lovely time spent at this gem of a barn.

  • "The cottage was extremely well equipped with everything you could need and more."

Colin & Mary came and introduced themselves and advised if there were any issues to let them know. White hands Farm Barn was spotlessly clean with three bedrooms and three bathrooms all kitted out with nice little touches like hot water bottles if it’s chilly and hairdryers, hangers in the wardrobes and plenty of storage. The cottage boosts a lovely lounge area with two comfortable sofas and a separate dining area. The kitchen is open plan which is so well equipped, I struggled with operating the hob, a quick call and Mary came to show me, without complaint. The hot tub was amazing, even with the threat of rain, it was a treat to climb in and relax. We managed to do quite a bit during our week, not all the attractions could be visited due to the current situation but it gives us a reason to return to Whitehands Farm Barn in the future. Thoroughly recommend, the cottage is in a quiet village with no light pollution meaning great night sky views, when it wasn’t cloudy.

It gave our family of four plenty of space to relax, and plenty of bathrooms, so there was never a queue! The attention to detail in the property is great - soft close on all doors and drawers in the kitchen, cleaning equipment in kitchen and bathrooms if needed and a lovely welcome basket on arrival. Would recommend to others, in particular families with young children as there is plenty of room to run in the back garden.

The Barn is lovely with three generous en-suite bedrooms off the main living dining area. The furniture and fittings were good and the interior has been beautifully presented. The place has been very well equipped and although Mary said that there might be problems with the internet we didn’t experience any. Our young grandsons enjoyed the opportunity to relax with a movie or two in the evenings thanks to Netflix and Nowtv, although they did prefer to be out in the beautiful garden or hot tub. The Barn is stunning, set in a wonderful location and the surroundings are tranquil and relaxing, although less so when you have two young and very active grandsons. A splendid base from which to explore the area. Would we recommend it, definitely, would we stay there again, absolutely!

The hot tub was a great treat for me, my husband and teenage daughters and the one bedroom with level access perfect for my elderly parents. We wanted for nothing while we were there and were so comfortable and relaxed we really didn't want to return home! It's in such a beautiful area , perfect for evening strolls after dinner with my husband or early morning runs for our daughter. We saw baby deer, a hare and partridges on such occasions- creatures we never see living in a city. We chose this place due to its close proximity to family living in Attleborough who we met up with several times and we wouldn't hesitate to visit here again!

  • "This property was finished to a very high spec (oh!"

those taps...!), squeaky clean and well equipped. Good linen and large fluffy towels, a welcome pack with contents above and beyond, and owners who were helpful and friendly even before we arrived, but who respected our privacy. We were an odd combination..2 elderly and wobbly parents, taken for a break by their 2 elderly children (!) and a dog. We each had our own spacious bedroom, en suite, and the living area was large and level, ideal for the not-so-sprightly, and the layout was convivial and conducive to family interaction. TV with Netflix and Amazon gave plenty of entertainment scope for a wide variety of tastes and ages. The garden was huge, totally secure, able to let the (deaf) dog out quite safely as gates kept her off the lane. We found plenty to see and do in the area, there was a lot of information for us in folders, all clearly labelled into categories, eg For Children, Walks, etc.. Simply cannot fault the accommodation, it was tailor made for us, and would fit most perfectly friends or families with wide age ranges, and is suitable for people with less than perfect mobility. A great place to stay, a great location to explore lovely Norfolk.

A well appointed and comfortable warm holiday home, needed due to the Easter heavy rain. A useful welcome folder on arrival with menus of the local takeaways that delivered - the Indian was good. Organised tourist information in a box was very useful. The welcome hamper on arrival and fresh flowers were appreciated. Sadly phone reception was not great for us in the barn but it had good WiFi connection and TV reception. All the en-suite bedrooms worked well as we were all able to be independent . The barn was appreciated by all 3 generations of our family ( 13- 82 years) and we all would return but hopefully with some sunshine.

Recently renovated to an exceedingly high standard, we spent a brilliant week exploring Norfolk using the barn as a base. Many a cosy evening (and morning) was spent making full use of the facilities, it was great to have a bathroom each, the lounge/diner was snug and the really well equipped kitchen was used to its full. The owners were really helpful and accommodating both before we arrived and during our stay. We hope to come back again.
