  • "Peaceful location with easy access to the canal for walking."

The house is clean & well decorated & equipped with all anyone could need.

  • "Gorgeous house close to amenities."

House was spotlessly clean. Owners were very welcoming and regularly made sure we were ok. Bedrooms very spacious apart from the single bed room it could do with under bed storage or something so to unpack your clothes. Can’t wait to go in the summer when you can take full advantage of the whole garden. Would definitely recommend this to everyone.

  • "This cottage is in a beautiful part of Wales."

It sits overlooking the canal with tow paths in both directions. When you open the curtains in the morning there is a wonderful view across the valley with distant glimses of the aqueduct to the left and viaduct on the right. The house is homely and comfortable and well equipped. The decor is lovely and shower room excellent. We needed an extension lead and Sarah was very happy to help us. We did struggle a little with tight turning circle at the parking area, but it was worth it for the location.

Thankyou for your response, glad that i could help and that you had a nice time regards sarah Property Owner

  • "Location: Fantastic location, amazing views and 10m walk from a World Heritage site."

The local village doesn't have many facilities but there are plenty of others in a few minutes drive. So many places and things to see and do locally you don't need to drive for miles, excellent. Property: Spacious property. Very clean and comfortable with all the conveniences you need. Large bathroom with a bath and shower, great for cyclists and hikers having a bath! Good towels in quality and size. Beds and pillows were very comfy. Lounge and dining room a good size, comfortable with a large TV on the wall. Kitchen is small but big enough for what we need it for on holiday. Parking, my wife is a nervous driver and wouldn't drive up the access road, for me it was absolutely fine but its something you do need to be aware of. Our car was an Audi Q3, any larger car than that and things might be getting a bit tight so check first. We loved the place and would go back their tomorrow FOR THE OWNER ONLY NOT TO be PUBLISHED in the MAIN Feedback: 1. As you know we had a number of minor issues which we left a note about when we left, I think it would be useful if the owner had a checklist as other than the leak in the bathroom the rest were avoidable with a simple pre-arrival checklist. I only mention this as we have stayed at a lot of cottages over the last 20 years and not experienced this number of minor issues. We had a great stay though and it would not put us off staying again

  • "We found Nantclwyd a very comfortable and convenient place to stay."

It was very clean, well equipped and had everything we needed. We enjoyed sitting in the back garden and enjoying the views of the canal and it was easy to get to the towpath for walking. It was easy to visit this beautiful area by road too. Our host, Sarah, was most welcoming, friendly and helpful. Thank you

Thankyou so much, happy that you enjoyed your stay and the beautiful views best regards sarah Property Owner

The canal location is superb. The accommodation is clean and well maintained. The owners are friendly and helpful. We'd recommend a visit to The Telford pub over the other side of the aqueduct. A great stay overall.

  • "We have had a wonderful holiday at Nant Clwyd."

The cottage was spotlessly clean and very well equipped. The owners have obviously spent a lot of time and effort providing extras for that bit of luxury particularly in the bedrooms. Being so close to the canal was lovely, especially watching the narrow boats and seeing the different breeds of birds and their song. It was a lovely walk across the aquaduct to the Telford pub, good food and service. The owners are very helpful, nothing seemed to be any trouble. The surrounding area is beautiful, Llangollen and the Horseshoe Pass is a must to visit. We will be back, hopefully later this year

  • "Lovely cottage."

perfect for our stay. Would be even better in the summer as we weren't able to make use of the garden with the view of the canal. Nice location though the drive along the canal bank to get to it is a little interesting. Could do with a baking tray! the Fron pizza and kebab shop was 50mt away and would recommend for a quick tea!

  • "We had an excellent stay at the property."

Property was very clean and spacious, enough to keep the boys busy running around. Excellent view from living room and bedroom. Parking was a bit tricky, but not a problem. Overall, it was a wonderful stay over the week and will definitely come back if in the same area. Owners were a delight to deal with and they regularly checked if everything was in order.

Great for the canal, aqueduct, castles and so much more. It’s a very dog friendly area. The views from the property are fantastic and with the canal at the foot of the large garden there’s plenty to watch. The house has everything you could need. Its quirky layout and homely style suited us very well.
