  • "The house is very clean and the beds and sofas very comfortable."

It was well stocked for 8 people with left overs. The children adored the attic with reading nook and disappeared up there whenever we came in. We were lucky for weather in February and walked to Angel Bay to see the seals then went to Llandudno to toboggan down the Great Orme. We would mention that we felt the lack of coffee tables but we moved the benches. Unfortunately the heating was set to go to 16 between 10.00 and 5.30 but we didn’t know this so after a short outing the house was really chilly and took a long time to heat up. The owners increased the ‘off’ temperature to 18 but we two oldies really felt cold until all the family arrived.

  • "We enjoyed our stay very much."

Everything was provided, even to many different ways of making coffee, and our grandson much enjoyed his own room at the top of the unusual stairs. The very helpful briefing notes were also much appreciated.

  • "We loved our stay at Tan-y-Fron."

The house lacked for nothing. We had our friends over for dinner a few times (11 of us in total) and we were able to provide enough crockery etc for everyone. The children were able to bake too- there was a lovely recipe on the wall for blueberry muffins- I highly recommend it- they were delicious. The location was great; we were close to great beaches, attractions & shops. The house is well decorated and very comfortable. The garden is safe and very dog friendly. As a family, we loved it.

Lovely touches like cakes, milk and prosecco on arrival were greatly appreciated. The house was beautifully clean. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and would absolutely recommend Tan Y Fron to anybody visiting this gorgeous part of Wales.

  • "A beautiful, well presented, clean, comfortable holiday home."

Perfectly located for local amenities and attractions. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend. We enjoyed the local Chinese takeaway and used the co op. Also we were able to walk the dog to ‘Princes Green’ a local park and took him on walks to Angel bay. We found a beautiful beach in Penhryn bay were he was able to go and run free. The weather was amazing so sat out in the back garden. The home provided us with everything we needed. It has been beautifully renovated to a very high standard.

  • "We could not have been more delighted with this property."

It had everything we needed and was spotlessly clean. We've not stayed in that exact area of North Wales before, but found that it was perfectly placed for all of places that we liked to visit in Colwyn Bay, Llandudno, Conwy etc. It’s also only a few minutes from the Little Orme so we popped up a few times to see the seals on Angel Bay in the evenings. We would certainly choose this property if it was available next time we want to visit the area.

Enjoy a trip up the Great Orme on the tram or cable car or a visit to the Llandudno Snowsports Centre where you can go tobogganing or learn how to ski on the dry ski slope.

A walk along the pier lets you take in the sea breeze and enjoy the views of the bay and its long stretch of Victorian hotels.

The west shore offers more beaches as well as wildlife walks including the Conwy Estuary Trail which stretches alongside the river to the RSPB Nature Reserve in Conwy.

Hop over the river and enjoy a day exploring the historic walled town of Conwy with its 13th Century castle and wall top walk.

Here you’ll find amazing delis and bakeries as well as the famous smallest house in Great Britain.

Travel a little further inland to explore Snowdonia National Park.

For those feeling adventurous you can take a hike up to the summit of Snowdon, the tallest mountain in Wales or there are an abundance of extreme sports including riding the artificial wave at Surf Snowdonia, trampolining in caves, rope walk through the tree tops or zip line through a quarry.
