Could'nt open the windows or doors without getting flies in ,the cottage was lovely but needs some TLC.on arrival the toilet seat was hanging off and also the towel holder.we were not made aware that our dogs were not allowed upstairs and as our westie is epileptic and tends to have her seizures during the night she is upstairs with us so we can try and stop her hurting herself.this meant we had to sleep on the bedsettee in the conservatory which was pretty disgusting as there were some very ...

Could'nt open the windows or doors without getting flies in ,the cottage was lovely but needs some TLC.on arrival the toilet seat was hanging off and also the towel holder.we were not made aware that our dogs were not allowed upstairs and as our westie is epileptic and tends to have her seizures during the night she is upstairs with us so we can try and stop her hurting herself.this meant we had to sleep on the bedsettee in the conservatory which was pretty disgusting as there were some very bad stains on it and it was so thin,my dogs beds are deeper.on telling the owner this she just said it worked out well then.we had little to no sleep and returned feeling exhausted, not the way to end our holiday.we have booked several cottages with you over the years, also we recommended you to friends and they have just returned from their holiday.and can safely say never had this problem .we are off to our next holiday in just over a week and hope it more like the others we ha e stayed at.

About the location

WEST FELTON

Oswestry 4 miles.

The peaceful rural hamlet of West Felton, with a traditional pub and village store, stands close to the historic border town of Oswestry, the famous village of Whittington (birthplace of the first Lord Mayor of London) and the delightful town of Ellesmere, known as Shropshire's Lakeland because of its nine meres (or lakes). Close by is the original Old Oswestry, the site of a spectacular Iron Age Hill Fort, while today the town offers many historic buildings and a good variety of shops, pubs and restaurants. There are a variety of shops in Ellesmere, as well as good pubs and restaurants and an abundance of entertainment on and around the nine lakes which surround the town. Stroll through Cremorne Gardens, enjoy fishing and sailing or explore Colemere Country Park with its wonderful wildlife and scenic walks. This whole area has something for all ages and tastes.
