  • "The owner was very helpful contacting me before the holiday to make sure we had all the information we needed, checking in to make sure we arrived safely and checking at the end of the holiday to see if all had gone well."

There was a lovely welcome basket with all sorts of goodies. The house was clean and beautifully decorated. The kitchen was well kitted out even including recipes books from which we chose some things to cook that we had not cooked before. We throughly enjoyed the log burner. It has loads of games etc for all the family both for inside and out door use. We love this part off Wales so went on long walks, paddle boarding and fishing. We enjoyed several hours in the local micro brewery and bought some back for Christmas. The only thing that some people may find difficult is the height of the ceiling in the double room it was fine for me. I have no complaints I loved every minute thank you.

  • "Dolfor is a lovely cottage in Nefyn in which to holiday."

The garden is very pretty and has a great BBQ and garden dining table. The conservatory, set up as a dining room, is a good alternative on non-sunny days. The parking area is a bonus. Dolfor is an old stone cottage which has been adapted well for modern living. It is quirky and charming. The kitchen is modern and is kitted out with everything you could possibly need - cake making equipment, plastic boxes for picnics, a blender, sharp kitchen knives, to name but a few. The laundry area has containers with beach toys, BBQ kit, beach gear. We found everything we needed and more. Appropriate toys were left in the house for the two young children in our party to play with - a very thoughtful touch. The sofas and beds are very comfortable. This us a lovely cottage for families, contact with the owner is excellent, and it will be my first choice for another holiday in Nefyn. Dorothy Carr 23/30 July 2021

  • "The house is just amazing!"

As soon as we walked through the door the house smelt clean and fresh and it became clear that it was very well organised for a cottage. The owners have thought of everything - and it just made the holiday so easy. The garden was great fro our two girls to play and release some energy and it’s literally a 2 minute walk to the play park and the little walks around the town. You can easily reach the coastal path and walk down to the beach - which is a good idea height of the summer as the beach car park fills up super early. All the information was easy to find and anything we couldn’t find we were able to contact the cleaner for more information and she was quick in responding. It was the perfect sized house for the 4 of us plenty of room downstairs for socialising as a family and they’d made the bedrooms so lovely, using all the space they had to make it work. We would definitely return.

  • "A delightful cottage set in a beautiful location accessible for exploring the Llyn peninsula."

The thought that had gone into little gifts for the children/teens/mum and lovely welcome hamper just made the holiday even more special. A wonderful host who checked in prior to the holiday as we chatted through Covid and the implications meant that we were still able to enjoy our break with a few minor tweeks. Can't wait to return to this quirky, well equipped cottage.

The cottage was very well equipped with everything we needed and more. We especially enjoyed the home-made marmalade on the welcome tray. The bedroom in the eaves was very cosy. We spent the week walking on the coastal path and beaches in the local area, Ty Coch Inn serves a great lunch and a decent pint - well worth the walk over there. The views from Garn Boduan are spectacular and you should definitely try the beers at Cwrw Llyn.
