  • "We had a short break at this lovely cottage."

When we arrived we were greated by Anwen, and she immediately made us feel welcomed. We were shown around and instructed on how to use the hot tub (which was perfect and much needed). There was milk and Welsh Cakes in the fridge . Anwen was readily at hand to advise on places to visit and things to do. Everything was just perfect and we couldn't of asked for a better stay.... Mobile phones signal is not great and whilst there was WiFi is could only be picked up in the upstairs window but for us that was fine as this was a break to get away life's worries, and not having Internet to dominate our lives for a few days was a welcome change. Well recommend and hopefully we will be able to return in the future.

  • "Anwen was a brilliant hostess."

Nothing was too much trouble. The cottage was comfortable and clean and there was even a pint of milk in the fridge and a box of Welsh tea bags waiting for us along with some Welsh cakes too. The hot tub was a definite winner and the views were incredible. My only critique would be that the WiFi didn’t work so signal and internet connection were limited for the week, however this is a small thing that didn’t reduce our enjoyment for the week. We really enjoyed our chats with Anwen and how personable she is. Her little kittens are so cute too that we wanted to take them home with us. A real enjoyable stay and the rest and relaxation we both needed. Definitely recommend!

  • "It was a lovely location but no taxi available if you wanted to leave car and go for drink."

We tried a dozen taxi numbers and none would come to the farm. Its a quaint cottage with lovely garden area which is overlooked by the barn occupants next door as they are higher up. The cottage had a huge bedroom which could easily accommodate a king size bed. Unfortunately it was a double and witj two large people felt uncomfortable. Unfortunately we had to leave after 4 nights as i became really unwell. We would return again as the place is tranquil and the host very kind, caring, thoughtful and friendly. Nothing was too much trouble for Anwen. A nice lady.

Talked me through everything about the cottage, and also provided some info on nearby walks. Considering there was a storm and a powercut, I was helpfully forewarned to prepare for it and kept informed on when things will be back up. Hot tub was a great perk. All other facilities met requirements. WiFi and data signal was a bit patchy, but this is/can be a blessing in disguise...good enough for emergencies, and bad enough to switch off.

We wished that we booked longer. The hot tub was amazing, the cottage was very cosy and comfortable. We took lots of good food & wine and fully enjoyed the experience of relaxing so much. The views were amazing with the pleasant sound of the cows early evening! Only minor was that the bed could of done with a revamp, we both had sore backs in the morning, but nothing the hot tub couldn’t resolve!! Overall, brilliant stay & we will be returning that’s for sure.

Size of the main bedroom was very large but good space that has some adaptability if required. Although the unit is off the main areas, the peace was lovely, being right in the countryside. The hot tub is the real bonus and got used everyday of the stay. Once had better understanding of the location over the week, I would use Llandudno as a going out location for food a lot of choice, there are local pubs in Abergele as well. With 4 seasons in one week, the cottage was a great hideaway and withstood the great Welsh weather.

The cottage was immaculate and the welcome pack meant we could enjoy a cup of tea before heading off to do the grocery shopping. The fresh flowers were a lovely homely touch. The location is very rural and peaceful but not so rural as to be isolating. The cottage is well positioned for both the North Wales Coast and the Snowdonia National Park and the hot tub is an absolutely hit after a long day on the mountains. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will definitely be returning.

The cottage is spotless and well-equipped with fabulous views all around. A lovely decked patio with table, chairs, hot-tub and barbeque. Anwen is very welcoming and always there for you if you need her. The cottage has lots of tourist information, books to read, maps and even binoculars, so the TV provided can be kept off if wished. The highest mountains of Snowdonia are less than an hour's drive away, and the nearest coastal resorts about 20 minutes away. There are many pubs in the area providing excellent food, the one in the village did a lovely Sunday lunch. The lamb is recommended, if you can look your neighbors in the next field that is. Overall, very enjoyable for this elderly couple.
