  • "The position of the chalet on the Warren was perfect ."

It was immaculately clean and very comfortable . We had everything we needed as a home from home . The outside decking and general area needs a bit of TLC but was still a lovely place to relax and a real sun spot. We had to stay in to wait for maintenance to come and replace empty gas bottles after 2 of us had to have freezing showers . We were only staying for 3 nights and it took 24 hours to get the WiFi password from warren reception .. we also had an issue with leisure passes . So only had use for 1 day by the time we got them . Sykes and the owner did resolve eventually and to be fair did their best to help . I think there was a lot of miscommunication going on .. non of this would have bothered us had we been there for a week or more but I felt I spent an inordinate amount of the 72 hours sorting things out . Would definitely return but would be making phone calls before we arrived to make sure everything in place . Overall the warren a fantastic spot , beach , Abersoch restaurants etc .. definitely stay again.

  • "Very enjoyable week."

Nice lodge, but could do with a few tweaks as some areas are starting to show wear and tear. Some outside furniture requires change, and the sitting room could do with a refresh, and the bed pillows were due a change , imo. Other than this, great place for people who enjoy quiet, peace, and comfort.

  • "My family have used this holiday property for the past few years and will remain to do so in the future."

The views are stunning, within a few minutes walk you are at the beach. The home has a cosy family vibe, very spacious too. It has everything you need for cooking, immaculate inside and out. A perfect holiday property for a family including the dog. We are already looking at dates for next year to stay at D7.

  • "Property was dated and needs some attention."

Thought this was an expensive stay for the facilities provided. On our arrival we didn’t have any hot water or heating until the following day after I had contacted Sykes and complained. However the property was clean on arrival. A suggestion might be to provide towels for guests. This is the first time I’ve been away where towels weren’t provided

About the location

ABERSOCH

Pwllheli 6 miles.

The attractive harbour village of Abersoch is situated on the Llyn Peninsula in a region of Wales renowned for its outstanding scenery and varied walking. The village, situated between two glorious bays, is one of the most popular sailing venues in North Wales and important sailing regattas are held there throughout the summer months. Numerous shops cater for the tourist as well as pubs, restaurants and cafes. There are also opportunities for golfers as there is a course just outside the village and horse riding facilities are also available nearby. Watersports enthusiasts are also well catered for, particularly windsurfing, water skiing and dinghy sailing, not to mention renowned surfing at Port Neigwl (Hell’s Mouth). The long, sandy Abersoch Main Beach is probably the most popular beach in the area. There is a wonderful selection of beaches in the surrounding area of the Llyn Peninsula, including the beautiful and often quiet Porth Ceriad, with it's high cliffs, and sandy Porth Oer ("Whistling Sands"). Most of the coastline is owned by the National Trust and there are many remote bays, sandy beaches and cliffs, as well as wildlife havens like Bardsey Island to explore.
