"The cottage is very cosy and comfy, the beds too which is a big bonus but it is really only suited for 2 adults and 2 children (not teenagers ) ."
Ideal quiet location which is what we enjoyed has we did a little touring around the moors when weather permitted .

"Good location and very friendly owners."
basics were there, more hooks throughout for tea towel, towels, etc. would be beneficial. Enjoyed the summer house but it needs cleaning and some maintenance. settee and chair in the living room were very dirty.

"Very enjoyable stay."
Lovely setting with the garden centre. Nice comfortable accommodation. Perfect enclosed garden to keep the dog in. Lots of hot water, powerful shower, central heating and gas fire worked well and were fast. Just a few cons: no freezer, bedrooms abit small whilst trying to maneuver around the bed, summer house a nice idea, but getting abit tatty. Back garden was abit sparse with just grass, compared with the rest of the garden centre which was well tended. The internal doors where abit tatty and ill fitting. Some people may have a problem reversing into the parking place opposite the junction, but was OK as I do this at home. Overall had a great time with my elderly mother.

"Lovely little cottage with everything we needed."
Lovely homely feel. We enjoyed the garden centre and cafe next door too.
-
"Only two items to cover."
1 (minor) more kitchen utensils would have been helpful i.e. scissors, wooden spoon etc. 2. (major).. entry and exit to park a car is dangerous, have to reverse onto a bend with on other junction directly opposite. This is not helped by having to open/close the gates on entry/exit. Accident waiting to happen

"Everything was perfect except we had a job tuning in the tv."

"Booked this trip last minute and the host was very accomodating, even giving us a quick call to discuss arrival details like the key location etc."
Property was exactly as anticipated, with the only issue being that we had to setup the TV ourselves as the scary cables had been disconnected. The taps also fore out water at crazy speed which caused a couple of puddles, but aside from the everything was great. Beautiful little village and with the added bonus of the garden centre next door supplying drinks it was exactly what we needed. There is also a train station very close, with hourly trains in and out of Whitby but we used a local taxi which was roughly the same cost. I'd happily recommend this venue and the host to anyone looking for a quick getaway.

"Bedrooms very small."
Had to squeeze round the beds to pull on curtains etc. (Got a nasty shin bruise trying to do so) l Kitchen disappointing re equipment. Light switches, string pull type, dirty. Summerhouse fairly dilapidated, parking. place not the easiest. Main door badly sticking on entry/ exit. Otherwise the environment around, public gardens, station etc, were very pleasing.

"Cittage was clean and comfortable."
Only thing i can complain about is that the toilet seat was a bit wobbly. The kitchen was well equipped, though there was no potato masher! There were plenty of plates and pans. I am not used to a gas oven so everything took longer to cook than anticipated, but we were on holiday so it didn't matter that much!!

"The Cottage was lovely, clean, comfortable and set right next to the Garden Centre with great cafe."
Location was ideal for Whitby and surrounding areas. The garden was lovely and nice to sit in with our dog. The steam train going past every so often was really nice too. Cannot fault it at all. We loved it and would be very happy to go again.

"A more comfortable double bed matress would have been nice."
Lacked shelving in bathroom. Lacked coat hooks. A coat of paint wouldn't go amiss. To say the cottage was adjacent and owned by the beautiful Garden Centre. The cottage garden had NO plants / flowers just lawn. Suppose that is to suit dog owners but really not pleasant to sit in. Summerhouse neglected and full of cobwebs. So much potential with this letting but not being utilised.

"We were given a lovely welcome at the cottage and it was like home from home."
-
"Accomadation very basic Not many pans if catering for 4."
Bedrooms way too.small Lack of cupboard space in the bedrooms and also the kitchen.Certainly not worth over £500 a week in June.Would not recommend.Very disappointed.

"Property could benefit from central heating."
Location next to garden centre excellent.
-
"Lack of any information, lack of condiments."
There was two directions you could take from the cottage, more precise direction to the shop would have been good.
