The property

Sam's Place rests in the heart of the lively seaside town of Whitby, North Yorkshire, and boasts a contemporary décor with plenty of home comforts, while being close to the hustle and bustle of the town and just a three minute walk to the West Cliff overlooking Whitby beach and 10 minutes walk to Sandsend beach.

Ideal for a family holiday or relaxing break with friends, Sam's Place is a fantastic base for venturing out to explore the gorgeous sandy beaches and many attractions, or staying in and enjoying some quality time with loved ones.

Arriving at the property, off-road parking greets you, before stepping into the porch, providing a space for you to kick off your sandy shoes.

Make your way into the living/dining room to find a fabulous peacock armchair, two sofas and a Smart TV, perfect for snuggling up after a long day while the large contemporary gas fire From here, gather at the dining table to plan your adventures before tucking in to a delicious home-cooked meal.

Take advantage of the five-ring gas range cooker and whip up meals for your group; the sleek kitchen also offers a handy washing machine, a dishwasher to help with the cleaning up, and a coffee machine for your morning cuppa.

Three well-presented bedrooms offer plush beds and wardrobes to unpack your belongings, consisting of a king-size with a zip/link feature and an en-suite shower room, another king-size double, and a single, so there is plenty of options to rest your head.

Guests will also benefit from a beautifully-presented bathroom, home to a clawfoot, roll-top bath with a hand-held shower so you can indulge in a good book while enjoying a soak, as well as a walk-in shower, a basin, a WC, and a toasty heated towel rail.

Back on the ground floor, step out into the courtyard and savour your morning coffee in the sun, or perhaps enjoy a glass of wine in the summer evenings.

For days out while at the cottage, visit Whitby Museum and brush up on your history, with exhibitions and artifacts on the Victorian era and local society.

There is a local grocery store, Gino’s excellent pizza, a chemist, and a beautician store lay just around the corner for your convenience.

Further afield is the lively town of Scarborough, home to another fantastic beach and plenty of shops, pubs, restaurants and cafés to fuel your excursions.

Animal lovers can relish time spent in the amazing Sea Life Centre, Scarborough, learning about and gazing upon an array of beautiful sea creatures.
