  • "Brilliant place to stay with all the comfort you require for a large family gathering."

So many places to chill out or have fun. Great kitchen (we called it the hub) and dining room for our meals. Rooms were excellent with good quality linen on the beds. The master bedroom was just exceptional and none of our group had anything else but positive feedback on their accommodation or the facilities. John who met us was great and explained everything that we needed to know and was equally accessible both before and during our stay. If I had one area for improvement it was that there was only one ice tray for the whole property. (Unless I missed where they were kept?) Would I recommend this property… absolutely exceptional place to have a large family event.

Thank you so much for that wonderful review. So pleased you had such a lovely time - and I’ll order those ice trays! Property Owner

  • "We had the most wonderful family gathering celebrating a 45th wedding anniversary and 4 Big Birthdays."

Bearnock Lodge is perfect for a group like ours with a big range of ages. All the rooms are lovely and the beds so comfortable. The location is quiet but has easy access to many walks and sights. We had great weather but even if it had rained it wouldn't have mattered as there is an excellent drying room. The hot water system is fantastic! A week that the family will always remember. Thank you John for all your help and advice. You, your staff and the owners know how to provide a first rate holiday. Thank you.

  • "Property is outstanding, I had kept as a surprise from my guests to see their reactions and they were absolutely blown away by how beautiful the house is."

The owner and caretaker we’re v helpful with suggestions for our trip, and on their advice we brought someone in to cater for us in the grand dining room, this was the highlight of the trip. Lots of space to roam around in with 2 kitchens, exactly what you need for big groups. This was a trip to celebrate a 70th birthday and this is a wow property that will match any special occasion. Can’t rate it highly enough, if you’re thinking about booking just do it, you will not be disappointed!

Thank you so much!! I’m glad everything went well and we are very pleased with your lovely comments. Property Owner

  • "We loved our stay at Bearnock and want to thank John so much for all he and his team did to make our big family Christmas so special."

Bearnock is a brilliant place and pretty much perfect. The only thing that would have improved it is to have better kitchen equipment that is suitable for catering for 18.

  • "We've stayed in a few properties between us all, but this is the best all round by far!"

The photos don't do the place justice, it's so beautiful. We had such a nice stay at Bearnock Lodge, and John the keeper was so friendly and helpful. We're hoping to return at some point and will definitely be recommending the lodge to our other family and friends, it's stunning. What an incredible job the owners have made renovating it, there are so much of the old features, and modern touches throughout which works so well. The facilities are great, and for anyone wondering, the kitchens have all the extras you would find in your own home and more. Everything from booking, to arriving and getting into the property was hassle free. Thanks for making it such a special weekend! We will definitely be returning!

That’s such wonderful feedback and many thanks for your kind words. We always worked hard to make Bearnock a little bit special and I am so glad it’s appreciated. I will pass on your comments to John Property Owner

  • "Beautiful period property with modern comfortable facilities where no expense has been spared."

Ideal private and safe location for exploring around LochNess. With 2 kitchens and numerous bathrooms, it was the perfect place for a week away with our large extended family. We were very fortunate with the weather so spent much of our time outdoors but the evenings were still spent around the bar billiards table and big open fire. Highly recommend this stunning property
