An immaculately-presented, stone cottage, ideally situated in stunning beautiful open countryside, close to the village of Muir of Ord in the fabulous Scottish Highlands.

Located next to the owner's home and forming part of a working croft, this cosy and contemporary Highland cottage is ideal for a small family or a group of friends who want to explore the breathtaking beauty of the Black Isle and all that it has to offer.

The accommodation in this Black Isle cottage is set over two floors, with two lovely bedrooms on the upper floor benefiting from pretty open views over the countryside.

The large open plan living area in this Highland cottage is smart and welcoming, with a cosy woodburner, comfortable settees and a well-equipped, fitted kitchen with dining area.

At the rear is a private patio and seating area, which is a perfect place for some relaxation or a quiet evening glass of wine before dinner.

The village of Muir of Ord is close by and offers good local facilities, boasting its own golf club, set in an area of outstanding scenic beauty.

For fishermen, the Rivers Conon and Beauly are on the doorstep and are considered to be two of the most popular salmon fishing rivers in Scotland.

The area is ideally situated for trips to Loch Ness to do some monster spotting, trips to watch the dolphins jumping on the Moray Firth or even a day on the west coast and across the sea to Skye.

A great location and a lovely Black Isle cottage to return to at the end of a wonderful day.

Beauly 2.5 miles.

The small Highland village of Muir of Ord lies close to the Beauly Firth and is conveniently situated for easy access to towns such as Beauly, Dingwall and the capital city of the Highlands, Inverness, some 15 miles to the east. Another major attraction is the Glen Ord Distillery and Visitor Centre, a 5 star award-winning visitor experience, which is open all the year round and well worth a visit. Muir of Ord has a pretty high street and good hotels, and just a few miles away the town of Beauly offers a quality shopping experience where visitors can find the finest Scottish tweeds, knitwear and crafts as well as smart boutiques and intimate restaurants. The whole area known as ‘The Black Isle’ has some of the prettiest scenery in Scotland with stunning glens where flora and fauna abound. Glen Affric, a National Nature Reserve, has been called the most beautiful of all the Scottish glens, and is an ideal location for walkers and cyclists with quiet tracks leading you off road and deep into the glen.
