  • "The cottage was larger than expected."

Very spacious, well equipped, huge amount of storage, good sized shower and loads of hot water. The heating was also excellent. No wi fi but we survived without it ! This could put some people off booking. No towels, could be a problem for some people but ones that are provided tend to be very small anyway so we would prefer to take our own. Excellent location, quiet and close to Wooler and the excellent Red Lion pub which I can highly recomment. The Northumberland country Park/Cheviot hills are onl the doorstep so wonderful for walkers.
