The property is ideally located; we felt completely rural but within walking distance of the village of Longframlington. We would have liked a bigger settee (or two smaller ones).

Ideal place to stay if you have a dog because they provide you with a large field where you can let your dog run free. I really enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend to others.

  • "The facilities in the lodge kitchen and bathroom were excellent - in fact better than my own."

The farmers kept a low profile but were easily available to answer questions - just what I needed. The only item slightly below par was the sofa (too squashy ) I would heartily recommend this property

Also, there were no instructions on how to use the various appliances. It would have been useful to have more details on local attractions like other properties we have stayed in. The quality of the towels was poor. We did not have a large bath/shower towel each and the 3 towels we had did not match and were obvioulsy 'well used'! There could have been clearer instructions on how to dispose of the rubbish, our neighbours during that week, also did not know where we were supposed to leave the rubbish bags.
