"Ireby House is superbly equipped, comfortable and well maintained."
There is so much to do and visit within easy reach to suit all tastes. Following our visit we would not consider staying anywhere else in the future when revisiting the area.
"Beautiful fully equipped bungalow approx 5 mins from Morpeth."
Stunning countryside views from the rear of the property. Great location to explore the Northumbrian coast. Would definitely recommend and hope to return.
"Lovely spacious holiday bungalow, clean and comfortable with all you need."
Great fully enclosed lawned garden even secure for miniature breed of dogs. Friendly owners live next door, introduce themselves on our arrival and said to knock if we needed anything but were not intrusive.
"The cottage was amazing and had everything to make your holiday a treat."
The cottage is very big also. The garden is huge and safe for your pets . Not far from Morpeth too and in good spot to travel to Berwick or other surrounding towns. Would definitely stay here again.
"We loved every minute of our weeks holiday."
The house is fully equipped for anything you many need. It is very comfortable and has a beautiful view from the garden. We have already booked to come back again next year.

"We enjoyed a lovely week in this cottage, it made a great base to explore the area."
"Had a fabulous Holiday at this property Everything you could possibly need was provided, already recommended to a family member who's looking to go to Northumberland next year."
The enclosed garden was a god send for the dogs Spotless clean and everything worked as it should. Having 2 bathrooms between 4 adults was fantastic enough hot water for all of us to shower every morning without any problems. Can't recommend it enough just hope this doesn't mean we won't be able to get booked for next year once we've decided when we want to come. Thank you.
"Lovely stay -thanks for the flowers and Easter goodies-really enjoyed the cottage and area."
"This is a most comfortable and convenient property."
It is beautifully maintained. It is very peaceful. The owners are very friendly.
"Couldn't have asked for anything more, the space inside and out was brilliant."
The cottage was so well equipped It really was like home from home . Thank you for a perfect stay
"Lovely property with welcoming and homely feel."
The dogs loved the fully enclosed garden, and spacious interior of the house. The mix of super-kingsize bed and kingsize bed across the two bedrooms, and two bathrooms was ideal for us all. Large living room with wood burner and well equipped kitchen. Lovely welcome pack on arrival. We liked the house so much we booked to stay again later in the year before the end of our holiday.
Thank you it was a pleasure to have you all to stay we are so pleased you enjoyed your holiday Property Owner
"Ireby is a lovely home from home that has been well thought out."
It is very well equipped and we particularly liked the large utility room - somewhere to feed the dogs and rub them down if they got wet. The wet room was also great, as I have slight mobility problems.
"The photos do not do the property justice, it is a huge fabulous bungalow."
"Best holiday home we have ever stayed in!"
Very spacious with extremely well-equipped kitchen. Bathroom and wet room, so great facilities for two couples. Our group included a one-year-old, and all the baby equipment she needed was provided. Lovely welcome pack to greet us so we could have tea and biscuits whilst we awaited our Sainsbury's delivery! Small amount of road noise from the A1, but we only noticed it because we live in a rural location, which is very quiet.
"We have stayed at this cottage 3 timees previously, this time during a pandemic was different but a nice break non the less as the cottage is always beautifully presented, HOWEVER during covid 19 in 2020 to adhere to the guidelines, Sarah and Philip had no choice but to remove ALL of the items that previously made it like home, no cushions, door stop, ornaments, games, books etc, which left the cottage we know and enjoy looking a bit sparse, that said we realise this is not their fault and for that reason we have given the cottage the top marks we always do as we know how lovely it is normally and would love to return again when the pandemic has passed."
"We sent you a review earlier in the week to customer services"
"A lovely quiet cottage that feels like home."
Plenty of space for sitting around to plan where we went next. Will come again.
"Ireby House has everything you need."
It is so clean and well equipped. Set in beautiful countryside it is perfect for a peaceful relaxing break and the dog loved the garden too! The wet room fully meets the needs of those with limited mobility. I didn’t want the holiday to end and would certainly return to Ireby House in the future
"A beautiful, well-equipped cottage where we felt at home straight away."
Excellent base to explore some of Northumberland’s finest treasures.
"Lovely bungalow, very spacious."
Garden was plenty big enough for dog to run around in. Lots of places to visit nearby and Morpeth is a lovely market town and very well served for shopping and amenities. Disc parking system works well with most of the short stay car parks being 3 hours.
"Ireby House is fantastic!"
Everything we could possibly need, all the comforts, lots of space and a much bigger than expected garden which was good for the kids to run around in. Loved sitting in the sun room with the doors open. Handy location, lots of places to visit within easy reach. One of the best we've stayed in, thank you!
"Fantastic cottage, everything you could need was there, nice welcome pack."
Very clean .
"Ireby is a brilliant bungalow, it has everything you want and need, my only complaint is it is too good for a holiday let, you feel nervous as there are notes everywhere about not splashing the worktops as solid wood, taking off your shoes at the door because of the solid wood floors, different cloths for different tasks, when your holiday you do want to relax, but I felt I had to clean everyday, especially because we had a dog, but you couldn't fault the facilities."
"Very nice house and very peaceful day and night."
Easy to get to and central for day's out. Enjoyed our 7 days.
"Ireby House is the best cottage we have ever stayed in."
It is extremely comfortable, warm and well equipped. It is perfect for our needs, my husband is on continuous oxygen and Sarah, the owner was so helpful about it. The garden was perfect for our two Shelties Lydia and Lottie, especially as Lydia’s middle name is Houdini. We will be back.
"Ireby House is very comfortable and well-thought out accommodation."
It is light, bright and spotlessly clean. We enjoyed our stay very much, especially the lovely views at the rear of the property. It is conveniently located for exploring Northumberland or for visiting Newcastle.
"My wife and me had a great week at Ireby house, lovely location, very clean, all that you need is provided."
"Ireby House fulfilled every need we could possibly think of."
It was superbly clean, comfortable and quiet with so much space for our family with two teenagers who need their own space. The views from the sunroom and lounge were beautiful and the kitchen had everything we needed, a true home from home as we love home cooking. The utility was spacious and an extra bonus and the property had excellent access to Morpeth ( a wonderful town to visit, has the spirit of Lyme Regis we felt) and the amazing local beaches with miles and miles of incredible sand. We loved it so much we booked a week next summer even before we had finished our week there!
"This holiday home was absolutely sublime."
The furnishings were all of exceptional quality and extremely comfortable. The setting was beautiful with wonderful views from the large lounge and sitting area and it was a joy to sit out in the pretty garden at the table listening to the birdsong and soaking up the last rays of the sun looking out over green rolling fields. There was everything you could possible want in the kitchen, every amenity and utensil you could conceivably require. The owners were around if you needed them and even solved a TV issue (after a minor power outage which disturbed the settings) with great speed (thankfully as it was World Cup semi final!) Simply cannot recommend this property enough.
"Ireby Cottage is wonderful,it has everything one needs great location ,plenty to see and explore with your dog."
We will be back again.
"We were absolutely delighted to be staying in such a fantastic holiday cottage."
We had everything we needed and more. We looked out over the countryside with horses in the field next to us. We were not far from Morpeth with its excellent shopping centre. Town parking was no problem with the loan of the cottage timed free parking cards. We visited Cragside, Belsay Hall and Castle, Holy Island Newcastle and many more places. We had fantastic meals out. It was really enjoyable and thank you very much "Ireby House" for a great stay.
