  • "As always an excellent property."

The Wi-Fi is the only thing that lets it down

  • "It is a nice lodge, quite comfortable."

The real bugbear that we had is that the wi-fi is awful. It is so bad that you can’t really use the smart tv. The signal will not cope with it.

  • "Our stay was somewhat different than expected."

Toilet seat loose showers blocked with hair, one bed too soft the other too hard. General cleaning was 3 star with dust on skirting boards and under beds. Fishing was great and the site staff very helpful. Wifi hit and miss needless to say we booked elsewhere for next year. Owners helpful but lacking good cleaning staff.

The owner is very friendly and helpful, lives nearby should there be any problems. The site is fabulous and so peaceful with plenty to do in the local area. We will definitely be back.
