  • "Very central location."

It's a small cottage but ample for 2. It's a well equipped cottage. We took a drive to Ashbourne which was 30 mins away lovely tea shops around. Would definitely visit Leek again.

  • "Very comfortable warm stay, we found a car parking space out of the tree that were available each time by our chance as this was what we worried about."

Bed was comfy, cooked dinners there easily - went to the roebuck hotel pub twice and the pub quiz on a Thursday was so good!!

  • "The cottage was in a perfect location right in the centre of Leek, which is a lovely town."

The house had everything you could think you might need and even some home cooked brownies which were delicious. It was our dog's first holiday and he loved it. Bed was comfy, hard floors throughout were really handy and the nice little enclosed courtyard. Bathroom was great and the kitchen had everything we needed.

Thanks for the great feedback. So very pleased you enjoyed your stay in Leek. Property Owner

  • "Mill cottage was perfect for the two of us and our little dog."

Great communications with the owner who contacted us to let us know the cottage was ready for us a few hours before check in. A welcome pack of quality tea and coffee, milk sugar and a tin of home made brownies (yummy). Much appreciated. Also washing up liquid, scrubbers, kitchen cloths, dishwasher tablets and washing tablets were provide plus lots of other little extras. Our dog loved his treats. Towels for dogs, bowls poo bags were provided too. Very clean, comfortable, everthing we could possibly need was provided and a comfy bed. What more could we ask for. It was about 100 yards from the main street of lovely Leek. Lots of eating and drinking places and a lot of very nice independant shops. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay

  • "This was our second and best stay at Mill Cottage."

Great pre arrival communication with the host and easy entry instructions. Complimentary milk, mince pies, doggie treats and a thoughtful Christmas card waiting for our arrival. Surprisingly quiet for such a perfect location in the middle of town and a car park twenty metres away, opposite the cottage. The only issue is the lack of hanging space so unable to fully unpack our suitcases during our stay.
