  • "Wonderful property!"

Would visit again without hesitation. Great location, no neighbours to worry about noise levels. Plenty of space for socialising for 10 people. Fiona and Martin were lovely hosts leaving the essentials on arrival and helping out when we had queries on the HotTub. Would recommend to everyone.

Everything perfect. Fiona and Martin were very helpful. They left us a lovely welcome package including a cake, milk, eggs etc. We have stayed in many rental places before and this was by far the best. We would highly recommend it.

  • "This is an amazing property with so much space inside and out."

Interesting layout of the outside space with areas for children to play ball games etc and seating for the adults. Open views all round, as the property is well off the main road in farmland, lovely setting. Fabulous hot tub. Inside accommodation is first class. Oven possibly a little small for the size of the house but use of the Aga available - good for the winter. Owners very helpful and caring. We visited Trentham Monkey Forest, Trentham Gardens and shopping village, Churnet Valley Steam Train ride, Alton Towers, Peak Wildlife park and canoeing at Tittesworth Reservoir water sports. Fabulous holiday!

  • "Beautiful holiday house."

Excellent welcome, including a gorgeous cake and wine! The house was immaculate and we couldn't have asked for anything else. The owners checked on us and kept in touch. Hot tub towels were provided which was lovely. Only feedback we would give, is to perhaps have a larger oven/grill as the aga is not in use. As the house sleeps 12, the oven is quite small to cook for this many. Although we are aware you haven't had the house long, so perhaps this is already in hand. It certainly didn't dampen our holiday. Absolutely brilliant stay, would definitely recommend to family and friends. Thank you so much x

  • "Fields Farm exceeded our expectations."

It’s ideally located and we were spoilt for choice for things to see and do. The cottage itself is in a beautiful setting with idyllic views. The cottage was well equipped, spotlessly clean and incredibly spacious. The owners were very welcoming and nothing was too much trouble. We are already planning on returning next year. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

  • "Have just got back from a weekend away at the cottage and it completely exceeded my expectations, the cottage was soo clean and nice little touches throughout."

Pictures did not give the property justice . Property is well located as not far and shops or town centre and great location for scenic walks . We got a Asda delivery to the cottage to save us room in the car which was great for us. Picturesque, would definitely recommend .

  • "Fields farm was just amazing."

There was only 6 of us (due to covid restrictions) so we all had our own rooms apart from 2 people. Even if there were the full 12 people, there would have been plenty of room and all of which were finished to a high standard. The kitchen was a great meet up room for breakfast, lunch and cocktail making. The hot tub sits in a great location next to the back kitchen area so was easy to nip in and out. The communication from the owners was great and we all felt very welcomed in the farm home - to top it off there was a freshly baked cake and some food essentials to help us on our way :)

  • "Fields Farm was definitely one of the best homes we have stayed in."

The breath-taking views, the vast amount of space, immaculate furnishings and cleanliness of the house was outstanding. When we arrived after a long car journey we we pleasantly surprised by the treats the owners had left of locally sourced foods as well as toiletries. The abundance of wardrobe and cupboard space meant that there was plenty of space to place our belongings. There were a variety of games to amuse the children although they loved looking at the variety of birds that inhabited the well kept garden. The multi-coloured lights in the hot-tub along with our music apps made this a very enjoyable evening activity. There is nothing negative I could say about this beautiful house as everything was perfect and definitely contributed to the amazing first holiday we enjoyed post Covid lock down.
