Nursery Cottage is secured by an electric gate leading out to a winding country road, with the Trent and Mersey Canal found just a short stroll away from the property, as well as a handy village shop and two country pubs, including the Broughton Arms, where you can enjoy a taste of the local ales.

The village of Rode Heath is home to Rode Hall which has some lovely gardens to enjoy as well as a nice tea room.

There is also a farmers market held here the first Saturday of every month.

The neighbouring town of Alsager can be found just a short drive away, or you can decide to take a leisurely stroll over to this vibrant area, home to a host of sports and leisure activities, lovely lakes, intimate restaurants, and direct trains to Crewe.

Also not far away is the bustling market town of Sandbach which is home to a great selection of wine bars and restaurants to enjoy.

For a day out in the fresh air, discover one of the nearby parks, Congleton Park and Sandback Park are in close distance, offering an outdoor gym, and bowling greens, you can also take a magical woodland walk through Brereton Heath Nature Reserve.

Cyclists will thrive in this corner of Cheshire with cycling routes such as the oasis of Dane Valley Way, landscape farmland stretch South Cheshire Way, or throughout the flowing canals of Cheshire Ring.

For a great day out take a visit to Alton Towers which is only 45 minutes drive away.
