  • "Nyth Dryw is a gem of a cottage perched halfway up the hillside overlooking Cardigan Bay."

The views were spectacular and always changing depending on the weather and the light. It was very peaceful and a brilliant place to unwind. Inside the cottage is modern and was very clean with a living area, kitchen with a good range of appliances including oven, hob, dishwasher, kettle, toaster, and filter coffee machine. The shower room was spotless. Upstairs there’s a small sitting area and a bedroom. Not that is was a problem for us, but the head hight in the bedroom might be tight for a taller person, but it would be a minor inconvenience for staying in such a beautiful space. There was a book of Snowdonia dog walks in the drawer by the front door which came with useful suggestions on where to walk our dog who really enjoyed himself. Most of the local beaches have dog-friendly areas. We didn’t even get to use the wood burner or hot tub and would definitely consider staying here again.

  • "We overall had a lovely stay here."

Location was lovely and house was goood. However, we were left with no toliet roll and arrived on a Sunday so did have to go out to a corner shop to buy our own which kind of sucked, after a long drive here. Hot tub did break - owner helped but it did leave it out of use for a night, we also found glass in the hot tub which was a concern and a champagne glass left by the front door of our accommodation upon arrival which remained through the duration of our stay.

Hi, thanks you for your review. We are so glad you had a good time staying with us. We are very sorry that you arrived to no toilet roll, this is very strange as we always supply plenty of toilet roll for our guests and it’s a shame this was missed. Our numbers are in the welcome pack so if you had called we could have rectified this issue quickly. In regards to the hot tub issue, it was an issue with the settings and not a fault with the hottub as we explained to you and this was rectified almost immediately. We are very surprised that you found glass in the hottub as we are very clear with all guests that glass is prohibited near the hottub and it is cleaned and checked between every stay so we are unsure how this could have happened. We are happy you came to enjoy the area and hope you can visit the mountains again soon. Many thanks. Property Owner
