  • "Really happy with our stay."

The owners provided lots of extras that really added to the experience. Everything you need is there which is great. Thanks for a great stay

  • "The property is a lovely old farmhouse with very generous proportions."

The kitchen was well stocked for pans, crockery, glasses etc and the welcome pack was lovely touch. As we were at the house over Christmas the decorations in the house were a beautiful addition. The attention and assistance from the owners was second to none and it felt like nothing would be too much trouble. I wouldn't hesitate to return as it is well located for accessing amazing countryside as well as e.g Alton Towers. One minor criticism is that we had a few issues finding it in the dark as the links from Sykes site weren't as accurate as needed and another is that some of the rooms with the old windows weren't as cosy as would be ideal but extra heaters were already provided to help.

Home from home with everything you need for large gathering, lovely hot tub and the views are amazing. Great communication and very friendly and helpful accommodating owners. Thank you

  • "What a lovely farmhouse!"

It ticked all the boxes for us as we were meeting to celebrate our golden wedding and it was half way between ourselves in South Wales and our son and his family from Cumbria. When we arrived we were so pleased with everything about Ley Fields. The space, the comfort, and the fabulous welcome pack. The farmhouse was spotless! The family loved the hot tub despite it being December and they even provided hot tub towels. We loved the 2 lounges giving us so much spaces and the children loved playing on the piano. We would have no hesitation about recommending it to any of our friends

  • "The cottage was beautiful and well equipped."

The only thing I would say that could be improved is that when we came to use the hot tub on Sunday evening, it wasn't very warm. The other two nights, it had been fine.

Friendly owners. Plenty to do and bags of room to do our own thing. Beautiful surroundings and we didn’t have to drive far to local amenities and for days out. Would definitely return.

The property was very clean and well equipped and felt like a home, rather than an impersonal holiday let. I would definitely recommend this property and intend to return in the future.

  • "The farm house was great."

The place was extremely clean and the welcome pack that was left was amazing. The owners popped in to check everything was ok and that we had all we needed, they were very friendly and approachable. There were lots of extra touches which made the stay very comfortable especially the bits for our young children to play with in the garden. The location Of the house is brilliant we managed to go out every day and not drive more than 30 mins.
