“We really enjoyed staying here central to Bakewell 1 min walk up a tiny bit of a hill from rutland hotel it is on the left.”

..a busy road in the day.. you are there. There is a solid yellow line out the front whch you are allowed to offload so long as you are not causing an obstruction. The parking is zone B behind the church 1 min walk. We just got the permit out of the house parked no problem and walked our suitcases to the door. My bike fitted around the back in the secure garden. Also suitable for dogs . Best meals we had were at Arthurs a family run local restaurant whch allow you to dine in the bar ...

My bike fitted around the back in the secure garden. Also suitable for dogs . Best meals we had were at Arthurs a family run local restaurant whch allow you to dine in the bar area....if you book wth the dogs after 5pm they will reserve you a nice table i can recommend the lamb. The fillet steak and mum had skewers haloumi. The other place is rutland hotel for salmon lovely meal allowed to sit wth dogs by the bar all GFree and you can getGF pizzas from the cocktail bar nxt door but there are no dogs in there. Just get take out! We had to hire mum an electric bike from Hassop station on the Monsal trail as Bakewell no longer has bike hire whch is a 40min walk from bakewell station whch is really where the monsal trail starts. Book bikes in advance. Also if you nd the toilet take 20p as council now charging alternatively use the toilet in one of the pubs. Abraham Heights was well worth doing at Matlock dogs allowed on cable cars...what a dog friendly place to visit. This house is ideal for location. Comfort and takes me bk to when we used to stay at my nans hse lovely and cosy. Oh and if i were you leave the key in the coded lock as i nearly lost it but the owners were lovely and very patient as i found it and returned it last minute .com! Thankyou for having us ☺
