"We really loved staying at Highfield House - it's the perfect home for a get away."
Located at the edge of the Peak District we had access to Leek and lovely walks. Despite the weather we enjoyed our stay around the fireplace and the entertainment facilities. The kitchen was very well equipped and we could cater easily for the whole family. Everything was very clean and had a lovely and homely finish. And to find a welcome pack (biscuits for the kids, prosecco for the grwon ups) was a nice touch too. Thank you again for everything!
Thank you Christian for the great feedback, so glad you all had a lovely time. Hope to welcome you back another time. Property Owner

"Very comfortable home from home - spacious, well equipped, warm - we stayed in October - and very comfortable especially for family or group of friends."
Owner readily contactable and very helpful......would book again as a great deal of thought has been given to what people may need eg garden furniture and bbq for summer months and logs for winter
Thank you so much Marion for your great feedback. So happy you all enjoyed your stay. Hope to welcome you back. Property Owner
"Our stay at Highfield House far exceeded our expectations."
The house is stunning ... a really beautiful, family home. The decor and furnishings are very high end, as are the many facilities, gadgets and appliances the house has to offer. The attention to detail is amazing, and nothing has been overlooked. We literally had everything we needed during our time there ... except perhaps the weather! But the house was so snug, cozy and well equipped, even that didn't matter. We loved the nearby town of Leek, along with many other different places to visit within very easy reach. I would not hesitate to recommend Highfield House to any prospective visitor. When our stay was over, we didn’t want to leave! And we simply can't wait to go back!
Thank you so much for your wonderful review! So happy you enjoyed Highfield House and the surrounding area. Hoping to welcome you again. Property Owner
"We spent a wonderful week at Highfield House with the family."
We all immediately fell in love with this magnificent house. It is magnificently restored, tastefully, generously and comfortably furnished. The mix of country style and modern furnishings is lovely and absolutely stylish. The garden and the outdoor area are also magnificent. In addition, it is nestled in a fantastically beautiful landscape and not far from attractive shopping facilities. We can recommend it wholeheartedly!

The house was very clean, spacious and so well laid out. Secure parking for our cars and a clean outdoor area to sit and enjoy the countryside air. The hosts stocked the kitchen with everything we would need for our stay - including teabags, coffee and biscuits! We would definitely recommend this house to our friends and families. Huge thank you to the owners for going the extra mile with everything in the house!

The hillside market town of Leek, known as “The Queen of the Moorlands” is situated on the western side of The Peaks and is surrounded by lovely Moorland countryside. The town has a charming cobbled market place and there are many examples of fine Victorian architecture influenced by William Morris - a reminder of the town’s prosperity when it was renowned as a silk manufacturing centre. Today Leek offers a wide selection of shops including vast antique emporiums, a good selection of restaurants, a local park and leisure facilities and real ale pubs. Situated close to Three Shires Head, the meeting point of the counties of Cheshire, Derbyshire and Staffordshire, Leek is near to Chatsworth House, Buxton Opera House and Gawsworth Hall, plus Alton Towers is within driving distance.
