"Spent an amazing week at seascape."
Veiws were fantastic especially the morning sunrise. Everything you could possibly need. Would definitely return. Thk you for making our stay so enjoyable.
"Fantastic property with amazing views !"
The property is extremely clean and well equipped. Attention to detail in the property is exceptional. On arrival there was Prosecco, tea, coffee and biscuits which was a lovely touch. Cannot fault the property or location. Pub next to house does great food and transport to Edinburgh by train is a two minute walk to the station. Would definitely recommend this property for a nice peaceful break.
"We had a lovely stay, great views, near the train station , lovely walks and even the weather was great !"
"The accommodation was very nice & comfortable (except pillows) & everything we needed for our stay."
The coastline was stunning just outside chalet & lots of fabulous walks on coastal path. The only drawback was the loud music from the nearby pub until gone midnight, wouldn't be great if you have young children.
"Well presented cottage wth large bedrooms, located close to the beach and local shops."
Pub next door but it was quiet.easy to find great sea views
"Lovely place to stay very clean and comfortable had everything we needed had a loveley time"
Well situated with beautiful views over water. Had really nice time. Would visit again.
"Thanks for a great stay - it is a wonderful position and we loved getting to know the area"
"A lovely, modern cottage in a good location - ideal for exploring coastal towns & villages such as Aberdour, Burntisland, Kinghorn, Kirkcaldy & Dysart."
Good also for longer trips to Hopetoun House, The Japanese Garden at Cowden, Elie & Anstruther. The property would benefit from the addition of shower mat(s), a teapot, and operating instructions for the appliances.
"We had a fantastic week in Seascape - really clean with plenty of space."
Great view and very centrally located. Easy to find with the excellent directions given. Parking right outside. Nice and quiet (Easter holidays). Friendly and helpful hosts. Lovely modern, neutral decor. We'd definitely stay again. Only minor issue is there is no washing machine which is a little tricky when staying for a week with 2 kids under 5.
"Absolutely Excellent on every level."
Love that it was no pets, and like that I can always choose the ‘no pets option’ with Sykes cottages. The cottage was really comfortable, lovely hot shower, The owners had thought of every thing to make our holiday a happy one. High standard of cleanliness throughout. Appreciated cleaning materials and equipment left for our use, even dishwasher tablets. The sea views were lovely, we could watch the sun rise while sitting gazing out of the window from the lovely sofa. Appreciated the wine left for us.
"Loved it! view out the window."
Loads of beaches nearby . Best Chinese takeaway in the world just over the road. Really comfortable stay for my wife and me and my mother in law. Couldn't wish for better!
"Lovely well equipped cottage, clean and modern."
We had everything we needed. The cottage is situated in a great position with fantastic views, and the off road private parking right next to the door is a bonus.
"Nice place Extractor fan needs attention Needs lock on bathroom door"
"This chalet was pristine."
Wine and chocs - a great welcome! Paul, the owner, could not have been more helpful. Seascape's position was ideal for shops and pub, yet situated on the Fife Coastal Path with great views over the Loch.
"Perfect cottage, spotless, well equipped, private parking and a fabulous view."
One of the best Sykes’ properties we’ve had. A great base to look around the area, and we used the train twice to get into the centre of Edinburgh, so easy. Thank you for a great week.
"What a lovely cottage had everything you needed could not fault it, clean, comfortable and lovely decorated, would definitely recommend and will go back again in the future."
Great views of the sea and a short walk down some steps to a beautiful beach, pub had great food and views and only a very short walk, same as the Chinese. it was the perfect place to stay, great communication from the owners. So much do around the area and further afield, train a 5 min walk that goes to Edinburgh and that was another great day out. Absolutely loved our stay thank you very much ..
Thanks Kevin delighted you had a great time and stay in our lovely cottage hope to welcome you back soon Thanks Paul & Lynn Property Owner

"What a beautiful cottage."
It was one of sykes nicest properties. Very comfortable, very clean and had everything for a super break. The nearby Pettycur Bay Hotel was used for dinner most nights (just a short drive away) and the last night managed a table at the Ship (it's a must) fabulous. The owner even left a bottle of prosecco and chocolates. How kind Highly recommend
Thanks Iris fantastic you enjoyed the cottage and surrounding area Property Owner
"What an exceptional cottage!"
We were blown away by both the property and the location, stunning view from the lounge window. Everything you could need for a stay in a cottage is provided. Paul, the owner was there when we arrived, really nice guy who is at the end of the phone if you need to know anything. Harbour view bar close by but not a sound could be heard, even during the Bank Holiday. Great Chinese take away two minutes walk. Train Station five minutes walk with trains to Edinburgh or Dundee, we went to Edinburgh had a great walk round, lovely lunch, shopping for the ladies and a nice beer with lunch with no concern about driving, the view going over the Forth Rail Bridge is stunning. Great road links take you to many interesting locations in Fife, we needed more than the week, so we will definitely be back at Seascape, one of Sykes’ best properties we have stayed in, oh, thanks for the Prosecco and chocs Paul
"Spotless cottage and fitted to high standard."
Very practical materials used for flooring/bathroom etc and high level of comfort in beds and sofa. Loved the wall pictures etc, all colour co ordinated. We ate most evening meals in the cottage so only items I missed were a measuring jug and a pyrex type bowl. Thank you very much for a very comfortable stay.
Thanks for the lovely comments on our cottage glad you enjoyed your stay and Kinghorn and surrounding area, have taken on board your suggestions on measuring jug and Pyrex type bowl and will be adding these items to both the cottages Thanks again Lynn & Paul Property Owner
"This is a lovely little cottage."
The owners have thought of everything. It’s perfectly located for exploring the fire coast. The town is handy with a shop, chippy and train station on the doorstep. The cottage is immaculate and very comfortable. We will be back! Only tiny issue was the main bed, it’s not kingsize and it’s very hard. If a hard bed is ok for you then you will be fine!
Hi Clare Our beds are all doubles or singles in our cottages , the mattresses as you have mentioned are a matter of choice but just checked and the mattresses in cottage you were in are medium/firm and have only recently (December) been replaced Overall glad to here you had a lovely time and look forward to welcoming you back in the future Thanks Paul & Lynn Property Owner
"The property is finished to a very high standard, and is located perfectly for town and beach."
Private parking is a big advantage, an excellent base to explore the area from .
"Clean, well equipped and cosy wee cottage with lovely views."
Really close to the train station for visits further afield. Only downside was a very noisy water pump.
Thanks for the lovely comments, and the heads up regards pump this has now been replaced Property Owner

Spotlessly clean. Good location for coastal and other walks. Also so handy for railway station to get to Edinburgh. Pub very close but not at all noisy and a nice spot to sit and have a drink. Would definitely recommend.

Wonderful view from the lounge window. Superstore just a few miles away. Nice walk down to either of two harbours. Has own off street parking.
