  • "There was a large group of us (10) plus 2 dogs staying to celebrate a special birthday (80th) and a special anniversary (60th)."

The property was exactly as described and had ample room to accommodate us all comfortably. We loved the open plan living with sea views upstairs, where we could chill and cook in the fabulous kitchen. The bedrooms were all good with comfortable beds and plenty of bathrooms, with great showers. Upon arrival, the place was absolutely spotless and the welcome pack was much appreciated. The outside area was great with a large hot-tub and lots of seating to enjoy the fabulous views to the sea. Location wise, it worked perfectly for a large, multi-generational group as the beach was opposite, there was a great pub with excellent food next door and the village with shop and further eateries was an easy walk away. It was also a useful base for us to tour around the area - we visited Saundersfoot, Tenby, Bosherston, Stackpole, Pembroke Castle, Freshwater East. Finally a big thank you to the owners - communication was great and they work tirelessly to ensure everything is perfect for guests when they arrive. We really enjoyed ourselves and would not hesitate in staying here again. Thank you.

  • "Beautiful house and lots of equipment."

The bedding and towels were lovely quality. The hot tub area is a bonus. The 4 en-suite bathrooms make for a very grown up setting for teenagers. Overall a good base for coastal adventures. We did leave a message for the owner about the gutters and aroma in the little bedroom but opening the window helped. Access at this end of Amroth onto the beach means a climb down over the sea defence rocky bank. Would still highly recommend this lovely house.

  • "On arrival we were wowed by the property but on further inspection it needs some work."

The main issue we had was the smell of damp (well I think that’s what the smell was) in the twin room with shared bathroom, the smell was very strong and if it was me I couldn’t have slept in there and I felt guilty letting my daughter sleep in there. The whole of the downstairs property felt damp even the sheets on the bed. Outside area was lovely and all inclosed for the dogs but feel it needed a bit of maintenance and a lick of paint in some areas.

Thank you for taking the time to let us know your thoughts about Swyn y mor. It's a shame that the issues weren't reported during your stay as we would have resolved this for you. There was a cracked pipe above but this has now been fixed and we can assure you that there is no damp in in the property. Property Owner

Three of the bedrooms were good but the fourth one, a twin had a dreadful damp smell. There was an overpowering smell of air freshener downstairs too. Coffee machine wasn’t working and we would have liked information on how to use some of the kitchen equipment. Owner was very prompt on seeing to our concerns in the kitchen though. Had a great holiday, loved the hot tub. Think the property is looking a bit tired though

Thank you for your feedback. If this issue was reported during your stay we would have looked to ensure that this was resolved for you. There was a cracked pipe in the above property but this has now been fixed and we can reassure you that there is no damp in Swyn y mor. Property Owner

The property had everything we needed for a relaxing break. The spacious open-plan living area had lovely sea views, and the stylish kitchen was well equipped. There were plenty of board games and books available if you didn’t want to venture to the huge beach across the road, and the hot tub was a great place to watch the sun go down over the sea. The location was excellent, with a great pub/ restaurant right next door and the lovely village of Amroth just a 10 minute stroll away. Ardderchog!

All the bedrooms and bathrooms were of really high quality; very clean and comfortable. The upstairs open plan kitchen and living room was perfect for a large group of people. The kitchen is well equipped and spacious. Located just over the road from the sea and with a great view from the lounge area. We definitely hope to return for another holiday.

Beautiful property well stocked with cutlery and crockery and comfy beds. Tub chairs need replacing but that was the only issue. The house overlooks the sea and is next door to the pub which has great food and friendly staff. The house is large and comfy and has a fantastic private hot tub along with a raised rear garden with lots of garden furniture. Quick walk in to Amroth where everyone was very friendly. I would recommend this property.

The layout of the place was perfect. The bedrooms spacious and clean. It was a perfect location for us as the beach was just across a quiet road and a pub next door. We were lucky with the weather and celebrated our daughter’s 21st while there. Short walk to local shops and restaurants and a short drive to nearby Tenby. We loved it and would definitely recommend to anyone. Well worth the 6 hour drive.

Amroth is a lovely quiet hamlet. We met the owners who were a lovely, friendly couple and so welcoming. Some of our party put on wet suits and swam in the sea, others walked along the front watching the anglers when the tide was in. For children (old and young) Folly Farm is an amazing place to visit and only 15 minutes drive away.

We were allowed an early check in and upon entry we were blown away at the size of the place, the amenities, the bedrooms and ensuites, the awesome kitchen and the views of the sea from the spectacular hot tub. !! The house was fantastic, in such a great location and very well equipped. Leanne was on hand to answer any questions we had. There were many walks directly from the house, and of course the beach was a stones throw away, great to walk the dogs and see the sun come up each morning, and handy for paddleboarding in the evenings. Having the pub next door was a bonus, the food was excellent. We even had a private gate from our front patio into the pub garden - what more could you ask for! Spa was great but no instructions to BT into the music system (frustrating so phones used to play music but risked water ingress into them). No frying pans of any sort which confuddled the chef's in our group - great the pub will deliver locally and return a 10% discount (used twice). Amroth is the family's favourite beach so location and spec would mean would stop again. No anti slip mats in each wash room so gave ours over to son so 18mth granddaughter safe when in the shower. Very well appointed internally with comfy beds and excellent ensuite facilities for each bedroom. The open plan kitchen and day space is modern and well equipped with good views of the sea. The TV has satelite channels, and the free wifi was of a good speed and reliable (helpful as no mobile phone reception). The house is warm and comfortable throughout with high quality bedding and towels provided. The welcome pack with New Years celebration goodies was a great touch. The owners, who were available but unobtrusive, also run the pub next door which was very welcoming (Winter opening hours applied during our stay).
