  • "The area was absolutely beautiful, the cottage was quaint from the outside but very modern and beautifully clean inside."

The owners left a welcome basket of goodies and milk in the fridge. We took our dog with us and they had an area in the cottage which had a water bowl for him and a place for him to eat, dog treats were also provided which I thought was a lovely touch. A separate dog bin for his waste was also provided. The owners were very friendly and knowledgeable of the local and wider amenities but weren’t in any way intrusive.

  • "The location was excellent in that it was peaceful, comfortable and very well equipped."

It was a bit of a trek to the nearest pub and, being out of season, the opening hours were shortened, meaning we would have to drive or walk there in the dark, but we had plenty of wine and beer with us and a really lovely cottage at our disposal, so not too much of a hardship! The information provided regarding local attractions, pubs and so on was invaluable, supplemented by a chat with one of the owners. Overall an excellent place to stay - would recommend.

  • "The Dairy really had the Wow Factor for us."

It is much more spacious than it appears on the photos, spotlessly clean, and the furnishings are to a really high standard. The garden was super safe for the dog and our hosts made us feel genuinely welcome. We appreciated the personal email they sent a few days before our arrival, and responded immediately to a request we made. The view from our window was spectacular and the cottage location was very peaceful and quiet. The local area has so much to offer, we didn't have time to see everything we had planned. Wouldn't hesitate to return, and would highly recommend Capel Colman cottages.

I couldn't fault anything, the owners very friendly and helpful . Beautiful views from the patio of the Pembrokeshire countryside with a panorama of 180 degrees. Lovely walks on the doorstep especially if you have a dog, they will love it. Would definitely recommend as we intend on returning. A place to go to recharge your batteries and listen to bird song and watch the wildlife, pheasants, foxes and red kites. A home from home, we were sad to leave. Close to Cenarth, Cardigan etc for beaches, food etc.

The Dairy was a home from home (although cleaner!) with everything we needed and absolutely stunning views which we would never tire of. We arrived to a warm welcome and a thoughtful welcome pack - even the dog was catered for! The dog tag was a lovely touch, particularly as the mobile phone signal was poor on our network locally, so it gave us peace of mind that our hosts details were on the tag. There are lovely walks from the door and of course, plenty of walks further afield. We would recommend to anyone.

We found it spacious yet cosy and one of the nicest accommodations we have stayed in. The open plan nature of the kitchen dining area worked well for us. The welcome pack was a thoughtful touch and Sam and David were very welcoming.. Our two springers were able to be free in the enclosed garden and were even provided with holiday tags and biscuits for their stay. We walked very day and were very lucky as the sun shone all week. The views from the cottage, the early morning frost, and the night sky were fantastic.

Bridle paths and walks at hand. A wonderful conversion from a farm building to a holiday cottage, which was well equipped, clean and with a good eco heating system. The 2 leather sofas were a little large for us small people! Easy to find from the directions. You do go about 250 yards down a farm track to reach the cottage. The owners are close at hand, welcoming and supportive, with a delightful welcome package awaiting. It's easy to get to the various bays on the coast, which offer a variety of holiday experiences. I'm glad to recommend this cottage.

Sam and Dave did an excellent job of making us feel welcome and were on hand throughout to help us when needed. We had a great time and the home was a perfect base to travel. Our dog came with with us and there was no shortage of walks nearby, in particular the bay at Poppit Sands. The garden was properly enclosed for piece of mind, so our escapologist of a dog could run free. Lots of places to eat nearby, most of which came in the welcome pack at the cottage. This is a brilliant place for a holiday with stunning views out of the front door. Thank you.

Breathtaking views and the cottage itself lived up to all expectations and more. Decorated and equipped to a very high spec. The dogs were well provided for even down to holiday dog tags to use when away, what a lovely touch, just goes to show that the owners were thinking about their clients and not just profit. The welcome pack on arrival was very much appreciated and full of local produce including eggs from their own chickens - I have had free range eggs before but none have tasted so good as these - must be very happy hens! Beautiful dog friendly beaches for the dogs to run on and well signposted footpaths and bridle paths from the farm itself. We did get lost once and ended up walking 7 miles instead of the 2-3 that we meant to do although the unexpected waterfall was a bonus and the dogs enjoyed a swim in the stream. All in all a very enjoyable holiday and if heading back to Wales in the future would not hesitate to book the dairy again.

The furnishing is done to a very high standard with plenty of storage. The owners are very welcoming on arrival. Situated on a working farm, you are submerged in the views and Welsh countryside. If you have a dog these cottages are perfect and all have their own enclosed garden area, so you can let the dog out with no fear. The floors are wooden, which is lovely for us, but took our lively dog a few days to get used to! You are within easy driving distance of lots of beaches, castles and tourist attractions. We would definitely book here again.
