  • "Excellent base for exploring Pembrokeshire, the accomodation was situated just a short walk from Tenby centre."

The only thing missing was an ouside area, (which we knew it didn't have when we booked), didn't realise how much we would miss that, we had hoped it might have an area inside near a doorway but unfortuately not.

  • "The Shell at the Hideaway is a fantastic holiday property in a great location."

On the first floor there is an open plan kitchen and through lounge. On the same floor there is a double bedroom and a bathroom. On the second floor there are 3 more bedrooms and a further bathroom. We had adult sons with us so the set out was ideal. Good facilities, beautifully clean and in a great position for the beach and the town. It was about a 10 minute walk to get to either. The owners were easily contactable and got back to us straight away when we had a couple of questions. Thanks for a lovely holiday and it was great to be back in Tenby. .

  • "We had a brilliant stay at the Shell."

We had no hesitation in booking as we had previously stayed at the Hideaway house so knew it would be perfect. Beautiful accommodation, a 2 minute walk from Tenby/ the beach, designated bay parking. There’s loads of lovely little extras- good washer/dryer and dishwasher- tablets/detergents supplied, a nice cake on arrival, really nice towels, Netflix signed in to entertain the kids. COVID delayed our visit by a year but we simply picked a new date a year later and our holiday worked out cheaper than the year before. We are just sorting out numbers and we will get booking for next year! Thank you for a wonderful stay!

  • "The shell at the hideaway was such a great accommodation."

We really liked everything that it offered and we really enjoyed the location in Tenby, with the beaches and shops so nearby. We had a wonderful family vacation with two young toddlers, which would not have been possible if we did not have a self-catered apartment to stay in as a family group. We are very grateful for the get away and lucky that it coincided with such good weather.

  • "Lovely house in a great location."

Our only really grumble was about the beds. Both double beds were small and the mattresses weren’t the most comfortable which meant the grown ups didn’t get great night sleeps.

  • "It was really good."

Even though we couldn’t get in till 5 we were given permission to park early, after a long drive this was brilliant as we could walk into Tenby. Although the house was clean, we were disappointed to find a dirty grill pan in the oven which also needed a clean. There was dust in places. Bathrooms nice and clean. We also had to put new batteries in remote, so perhaps things like this could be checked. On the whole we were happy with the accommodation, we had a good stay. Many thanks, Jackie Jordan.

  • "Gareth and Emily have done a great job in creating a warm and comfortable place to spend a few nights or longer."

Nice touch in ensuring we had milk, bread, tea and coffee available on our arrival, the beds were very comfortable and all your cooking requirements were met by the array of pots, pans etc. The location was excellent with only a two minute stroll to the walls of Tenby and a short distance from there brings to the lovely north beach. Every one really enjoyed their stay and are looking at coming back in the future.

  • "The property was in a good location, of a very high quality and nicely decorated / furnished throughout."

The owners were very welcoming leaving us locally sourced bread, butter etc which was a nice touch. Our one major critercism is that the mattreses on all three beds were very uncomfortable and it was apparent that either the springs were worn or they were just poor quality - therefore this impacted the overall quality / restfulness of our sleep. Everything else about the proerty was fantastic - we had a good holiday overall

  • "When we arrived we were delighted with the apartment, it was much more spacious than the excellent photos on the website and superbly equipped and there were lots of little unexpected extras that really made the experience "wow"."

It's only a short walk to all the attractions and beaches that Tenby has to offer. It was our first stay in Tenby and what a fabulous resort it is and although very popular at high season, we never felt crowded in. The two parking spaces that came with the apartment were so important as parking in the area is limited. I highly recommend this property and would definitely go again. The Sykes app made the booking, payment and information flow so easy.

  • "The location of the property is great with a short walk into Tenby to the many pubs and restaurants, and within a short drive there are some superb beaches and spectacular scenery."

It's very quiet and has the bonus of two parking bays - very useful. The property is very spacious, light and clean and well equipped. There were a couple of things that we feel would have made it even better:- We would have liked thicker, fluffier bath sheets as the towels provided were not very big or thick. At least one more tea towel would have been handy as only one was provided. A teapot would have been very welcome as we prefer tea made in a pot and not in a cup with a bag. There wasn't a hairdryer provided. Luckily I took my own but in a property of four bedrooms I think there should have been at least one.
