    Ideal location for me as working close by. Was clean and tidy. The bed was very comfortable Everything in the property you would ever need for my 10 nights stay I contacted the owner during my stay as needed to extend my days due to work The owner was most helpful and very approachable Would come back again

Located in Hartlepool, a bustling, coastal town in County Durham is Hartlepool Heaven, a well-positioned, three-bedroom home.

Boasting a great location with a hub of shops, eateries, the marina, and beach within reach, whilst complete with flexible sleeping arrangements and a well-equipped kitchen/diner, the home makes a wonderful base for a family break, inviting five guests and two furry companions.

Park up on the roadside and enter the home, beginning your break in the welcoming sitting room, complete with plush sofas, an electric fire, and a TV for some light entertainment.

Continue through to the contemporary kitchen/diner, where you can prepare delicious meals, keep on top of your washing, and dine as a group.

When sleep calls, select between three well-appointed bedrooms, including two doubles, both of which have zip/link beds and can be twins on request, and a single.

All are serviced by a ground-floor bathroom, complete with both a bath and shower over, offering the ideal place to prepare for the coming days.

Once you're ready to explore, head to the local convenience store to stock the fridge, grab a bite to eat at O'Malley's, or enjoy a tipple at the Greenside pub, before venturing to the National Museum of the Royal Navy Hartlepool or Hartlepool Docks.

For a taste of the coast head to the headland to admire the wild beauty of the North Sea or venture to Seaton Carew Beach for golden shores and an array of bars including The Hidden Tap and Kitty Bills as well as traditional fish and chips!

If you'd prefer to hike across the Northeast, grab your walking boots and venture to the Teesmouth National Nature Reserve, or continue further to Stockton-on-Tees to explore Cowpen Bewley Woodland Park, or RSPB Saltholme; Dorman Museum is also in the area for those who are interested in the local history.

The coastal town of Hartlepool lies north of the Tees estuary, with the North York Moors to the south and the majestic cathedral town of Durham, a short drive to the North West. There has been huge investment in regeneration projects and Hartlepool now offers an award-winning marina, with associated trendy restaurants and bars overlooking stunning yachts and sea going cruisers. In the heart of the town there is a multiplex cinema, a health and fitness centre with swimming pool and Middleton Grange shopping centre, which is the third largest in the region, with a traditional market hall. Other attractions include the HMS Tricomalee - Nelson's last fighting frigate and the Heugh Battery Museum. Seaton Carew beach and its associated demanding golf course lies two miles down the coast and a short drive brings you to Saltholme RSPB Reserve, where seals and wading birds are regularly spotted. The more adventurous will be attracted to the impressive Teesside White Water Centre, whilst others may prefer a quiet walk along the Tees riverside walk. Beamish open air museum is within easy reach, near Durham city and well worth a day trip.
