  • "On arrival we were very impressed with the cleanliness and modern decor."

The instructions were all accurate. Someone has put thought into the small things. The shoe store in the hallway and the easy to adjust central heating were particularly useful features. We will definitely recommend it to others and will probably return ourselves.

  • "Our second time staying at this property and we loved it."

Such a nice place and kitchen is high quality and well equipped. Only slight criticism is some areas - e.g. headboard could do with a good dust.

  • "We had a lovely stay in queen Victoria suite apartments."

Clean and spacious and a good size for a family of 4. In a great location. It would be helpful if a sweeping brush, dust pan and a mop was included as was not able to sweep up or mop before we vacated. Would stay here again.

  • "The apartment is brilliant, has everything you need, is in a fantastic location on Stanhope main street, walking distance from everything."

It's a really excellent place to stay. We had a great week here, many thanks!

  • "Apartment was clean, well equipped and comfortable."

It was easy to park on the street nearby every day. A short walk from a CoOp and a good bakery. Little touches like Prosecco and chocolates on arrival, a selection of games and a gaming device and a DVD player in the bedroom were appreciated. As a family of 5 we use a lot of bowls and mugs, it would be helpful to have a few more than 6 of each so we don't have to put the dishwasher on quite so often, but not a big issue. Decor, towels, bed linen were all good and beds comfortable, if a bit soft. Thank you for a good break.

  • "It was perfect and pristine, the only things was that the shower in the king room would drain very slowly so we had to keep turning the shower off to wait for it to drain then turn it back on again but it wasnt an issue for us but might be for other people, other than that there was no issues at all, couldn't go wrong with how cheap it was."

    Would definitely stay again, cheers.

  • "This is the second time we have been to this apartment for NYE and we absolutely love it."

The apartment is cleaned to a very high standard, there is a lovely welcome gift left and all main appliances are provided. The kitchen/dining room is the perfect space for socialising. The only thing we found we were missing was a brush for the floor (there’s a dust pan and brush but it didn’t quite do the job). Such a beautiful place and we would definitely recommend!

The apartment was beautifully decorated to a high standard and everything was immaculate. The welcome gift was a lovely touch and very appreciated. The town of Stanhope is a beautiful little village with beautiful walks and everything that you need, we were most impressed. The apartment is in easy reach to Durham and being first time visitors we had a wonderful day at the Cathedral and going around the town. A most enjoyable holiday and one we would love to repeat, hoping to go back sometime.

  • "Everything was great."

The apartment was easy to find & access, beautifully done (everything was so shiny!) & very spacious. This was particularly good for us on this visit as the weather on one day was shocking & we had to spend more time inside than we expected. We were a group of 4 adults, a 4 yr old & a crawling baby and there was plenty of room for us all without feeling cramped (and for us to dry our clothes after a particularly wet walk). Highly recommended.

If you like to explore the area. The town or village is very nice but if you want to eat out on a Sunday evening, think again. But other than that would return and stay again.

  • "Fantastic apartment, a lot of care & thought has gone in to the accommodation."

Exceptionally clean - wish my home looked that sparkly! Lots of space and great size rooms, lots of kitchen equipment, utensils etc. Some treats were left for visitors : ) Really lacked for nothing. We loved this whole apartment and would highly recommend it. Even received email before our trip from owners, with all the relevant info including instructions for all the equipment, so we knew beforehand how it all worked - a real bonus. Thank you to the amazing owners - you should be very proud of your hard work.
