Freezer needed to be defrosted- could not open. Beautiful property in a great location and we would definitely stay again.

"The Works is AMAZING!"
We have stayed at 8 wonderful Sykes Properties in the last 2 years but this is definitely the best! 10/10!! The apartment was absolutely stunning, as was the view & the location was fabulous. We wanted for nothing as the apartment was so well equipped & beautifully furnished. In fact the apartment was immaculate. We arrived & had a lovely glass on wine, which the owner had left us. We sat on the balcony looking at the sheep. This was a lovely start to our holiday. We haven't slept so well in years as the bed was so comfortable! We didn't want to leave on our last day but came home very relaxed & happy. WE WILL DEFINITELY BE BACK! :)

"Absolutely beautiful apartment, very comfortable and the layout worked very well for 6 of us."
Kitchen had everything we needed (including coffee machine) and we plenty of seating. Comfortable beds and hot showers in all bedrooms/bathrooms and the views from the balcony were brilliant - we had the most relaxing week despite poor summer weather. Excellent communication with owner when I had questions. Highly recommended!

"Lovely spacious modern apartment."
We were very lucky with the weather (March) and enjoyed sitting on the balcony in the sunshine watching the lambs in the field below. Very convenient for our family travelling from Leeds by train. Beautiful views of the surrounding countryside.
Hi Jenny, Thank You for your lovely feedback. We are so pleased you enjoyed your stay and that the weather was kind enough for you to enjoy the balcony and views. Property Owner

"We had a wonderful time in this lovely apartment."
All very comfortable with brilliant views. Easy walk into Skipton along the canal. Couldn’t praise it more.
Thank You so much for your wonderful feedback. We are so happy to hear you had an enjoyable stay. Property Owner

"Beautiful apartment, everything you would need for a short break , train station on your doorstep with easy journey to Leeds , Keighley or Skipton."
Will stay again and highly recommend.

"Lovely apartment with great views."
Would be a 5-star listing if it were not for maintenance issues and lack of instructions. Toilet seats were loose, the lobby toilet the seat came off in our hands. Bedside cabinet draws falling out. The shower flip door was very stiff so much so that it was moving the main glass panel and felt dangerous. The extractor fan remote control not working assuming flat batteries, same with the hall ceiling blinds. Tried to download the Control S app but an access code was required we did work out how to work the system. Sykes should have a system for people to report faults as it seems most people don't tell the owners of faults. A simple book in the apartment to report faults too. We were there for a short weekend break, so full instructions save us wasting time trying to work out how things work!

"The Works is a fabulous luxury penthouse on 2 floors."
We are 3 very fussy older ladies and we couldn't find any fault. The booking process was very easy and we had clear arrival/ key collection instructions. The apartment is fabulous with 3 double bedrooms, with 2 ensuites and a separate bathroom. It was finished to a very high standard and the kitchen had everthing we needed including a coffee machine, dishwasher and a complimentary bottle of wine. Then there's the views and a lovely balcony to sit on. We didn't want to leave.
Thank You for your wonderful feedback, we are delighted you enjoyed your stay at The Works. We hope to welcome you back sometime in the future. Property Owner

"Our second stay but not our last!"

"What an amazing apartment!"
We have stayed in many places, both in the UK and abroad and this is one of only a few that have a real “wow” factor as you walk in. The views are stunning, the location is great, and the standard of décor, fittings and equipment is superb. It is wonderfully spacious as well.

"Had a fabulous stay at The Works."
Penthouse very comfortable and had everything to make our stay comfortable, very roomy, everything good quality. Would definitely go back and have recommended it to friends.

"Beautiful, clean and well equipped apartment in a lovely location."
Great balcony where you can catch some sun out of the wind. All bedrooms a good size with great on suites. Also highly secure garage and building access points. Locals very friendly with two good pubs - not far to Skipton and Keighly either. Couldn’t quite figure out the high tech lighting and sound system so some more instructions would be welcome! Would highly recommend and would love to go back!

"We really enjoyed our stay at The Works in Cononley."
Amazing views, plenty of space for our party of 5 adults, well-stocked kitchen, right next to the trainline into Skipton - a brilliant week!

"Lovely bright apartment , very clean and convenient for Skipton and train station."

"Such a beautiful apartment in a lovely part of the country."
The views are pretty special from the balcony. Secure parking with access to the accommodation via a lift, which is appreciated, particularly when dealing with luggage etc. Communication from Tracy was second to none. We visited several farm shops throughout the area, which were well stocked with great produce. Skipton boat tours provided a lovely afternoon tea while cruising along the Leeds & Liverpool canal. Of course, York was a must to visit, Along with a little retail therapy at the Designer outlet on our second visit. Thank you so much.
Thank You for your amazing feedback. We were so pleased you enjoyed your stay and would love to welcome you back in the future. Kindest Regards. Tracy Property Owner

Exceeded our expectations and we had a great, relaxing holiday. The view from the living room and the balcony is absolutely gorgeous. The property was very spacious and well furnished/decorated, and we had all the mod cons required for a comfortable stay. Can't recommend the place enough.

"We were very pleased with our choice of property."
I emailed the owner regarding the zip link beds and the availability of a high chair and she responded very promptly. On arrival we found the apartment nicely warmed and very clean and really well equipped. A lot of thought has been put in to the appearance, everything looks brand new and there were a lot of thoughtful little extra touches. Whilst there isn’t an awful lot in the pretty little village, we found it an excellent base to enjoy the area and we used the train to get around.
-
"Very nice apartment."
..great views..all mods cons..great transport links...there was a card and bottle of wine on arrival.. lovely touch.
-
"Absolutely wonderful apartment in a very unusual setting."
Large balcony with wonderful views. Had everything you would want for your stay. Easy and secure locked car park and lift to the apartment floor. Access to the Dales and Skipton is first class by both road and the adjacent railway station which has trains every few minutes going both North and South. Would not hesitate to stay here again and would recommend it to anyone considering Yorkshire for a stay.
-
"Super location with walks along the Aire and the Leeds Liverpool close by, and Skipton and points north and the Aire Valley easily accessible by car and the excellent train service."
The property itself was adequately equipped (though the light and sound system was slightly complex for us oldies!) and we appreciated the fresh flowers and welcome bottle! The listing itself didn’t quite do the property justice - for example why no mention of the lift the existence of which we discovered by reading previous reviews? And a little more info about the local area, where to buy petrol, a newspaper, foodie treats etc (the Coop at the roundabout at Crosshills just down the road for the former and where there is a great fish and chip shop, and the Keelham farm shop on the edge of Skipton for the latter) would be useful. Overall a great stay and we would go back again if returning to the area

"Beautiful apartment , very clean and comfortable ."
Lovely views from balcony. Close to train station with regular train service, some noise from trains if you leave windows open (early morning/late evening) but really good for travelling on the scenic Settle to Carlisle railway (and we watched the Flying Scotsman go past from the balcony) Restricted height parking not suitable for our MPV with roof box (fine otherwise!) but nearby on road parking. Excellent communication from owners and clear instructions, flowers and wine were a nice welcome. Good base to explore nearby Malham, Haworth, Skipton, Saltaire and just over an hour from York and the lake district
-
"Great accommodation, very clean and has everything you would need."
Stunning views from the balcony. Excellent communication with Simon. Highly recommended.
-
"From the moment we booked everything exceeded our expectations."
Simon's communication was excellent and he very kindly agreed to a request for a special occasion. Once we arrived there was a little surprise waiting for us to help celebrate. The apartment was beautifully clean and even nicer than the photographs. The views are gorgeous and the only thing that got us out of the extremely comfortable beds! We had fabulous weather and took full advantage of the amazing balcony and the fans in the bedrooms were much appreciated. There is everything you need including very clear instructions for access and a lift to the 3rd floor. We are going to make a return booking and can not recommend this apartment highly enough. After a tough year all round it was exactly what we needed, Thank you.

"A really beautiful apartment with a fantastic view from the balcony."
-
"The Works apartment is a really lovely place to stay and to come home to after visiting the gorgeous countryside that surrounds it."
The apartment has everything that's needed for a first class stay with views to die for, and to feel like home from home. A glass of wine on the balcony at the end of the day - bliss.
-
"Very well presented apartment in a pleasant village."
Good train service into Skipton and Leeds (connecting to York).
-
"Stayed here for 2 nights with 4 friends, the apartment was beautiful and everything we needed was provided."
It’s in a perfect location for a chilled few days away and the views from the balcony are stunning. Would highly recommend and we’d love to come back!

Nearby Skipton, known as "The Gateway to the Dales", has an ancient castle, a beautiful old parish church and a colourful market occupying the cobbled setts each side of the high street.
